Gill's Seafood & Chicken

We travel from Alice springs to come and get fish n chips here. The best we have tried in the northern Territory and so far in south Australia. Whichever town we go we try lots of shops. Gills is 12/10. Others just can't compare! Amazing!

First time there after 1.5 years in Pt Augusta, heard all the recommendations. Nice food, fresh cooking oil and friendly service. Will be back again.

Stopped for a quick bite during our trip to Flinders, nice staff, quick and delicious! Will be coming back!

First time at a fish and chicken shop in Adelaide and I'm impressed! Lots of options to choose from and good value for money.

Wow.what an experience. We found it wandering around with Google. Without Google, you would never find the shop. It was to open at 5: 30, but opened at 5: 00 pm. People came from everywhere when the door opened. It's a classic local fish shop that the 'in the know' people seem to use.
We ordered four different fresh fish with the idea of sharing. My wife loved it, which is a high-level test. It appears ordinary on first sighting, but it is lovely in all respects. The owners certainly love being there. They are people, people. (The shark has lots of teeth).

Nice and close to the hospital that we were stranded at, where the owner did nothing but be helpful, kind and cook delicious food. Thankyou for your hospitality

Nice and friendly staff, obviously do good work with locals with a steady flow coming through. Chips were nice and the fish although a bit greasy, need to be drained more for my liking. The other bits and pieces were quite a let down, could hardly taste the squid in amongst the batter, the scallop (ordered 2, only got 1) were just mass produced rubbish and muscle barely ok.
I think if you want basic fish & chips, pretty good, but outside that meh

One of the best chips and gravy I've ever eaten - and I'm from England where chips and gravy is a pretty big deal. Chicken schnitzel was lovely, large portion sizes, good price and great customer service!

Great fish and chips. Friendly staff and just around the corner is a picnic area and children's playground. Good for the family away from the highway.

Gills is the best! Frank is a top bloke and is always up for a yarn. Make sure you have gravy, it’s the bomb! The best feed in town for a really good price!
