Love this little find.so many bargains to be had & at very reasonable prices.
They stock, blankets & bedding, sleep suits & lots more and have lovely, friendly & helpful staff
Definitely worth a visit if you need a few bits and pieces to add to your little ones wardrobe. Also grabbed a few toys off the $1 shelf so I had a happy little lady on the way home

Great range of baby wear, toys etc. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff. They are however a covert Christian charity where they counsel people against pregnancy termination. Motives are very concealed.

I rang up twice & was met with nothing but hostility for making an enquiry. So disheartening especially if you're going through something to be yelled at by a consultant for calling and asking about how the referrals work. Sad sad sad.

Great place. Very helpful.
Reasonable prices are a pleasant surprise!
All toy and clothing needs for a bubz age 0-2 can be easily bought here.
The clothes are neatly displayed in age/type, so getting just what you need only takes 5 seconds.
I highly recommend this for any parents.

They also accept donations if you have things that have been outgrown- clothes, cots, toys, highchairs etc.

If you want good quality, pre-loved baby clothing, Genesis is a great place to shop. And Genesis do offer free baby items for people in need, so if you are in need and have a baby, you can ask for help here and they will do you some good. However, Genesis also sells itself as a pregnancy/abortion advice centre with a phone hotline, when in reality it is a pro-life group which aims to prevent abortions through telephone counselling. I called the hotline to make sure I wasn't slandering them, and posed a scenario to them. The woman on the line told me that the abortion pill is not safe, and that my doctor probably does not have my best interests at heart. She misrepresented the statistics regarding abortion safety to me - she lied, which is so unchristian. It is SO dangerous to tell a newly pregnant person that their doctor doesn't have their best interests at heart! The woman NEVER disclosed that she is pro-life. Instead, she tried everything in the book to dissuade me from having an abortion. So if you call Genesis, you won't get measured, balanced, supportive advice, only pro-life dogma. If Their website also says some terrible lies about abortions, such as that abortions can cause miscarriages in future wanted pregnancies, and that people who have had abortions can often turn to increased drug taking and promiscuity. If you want REAL advice, look elsewhere. If you want clothes and baby goods, this place can help. I suggest that Genesis should shut down their telephone counselling service and concentrate on supporting families in need.

Was referred to by the Child and Family Health nurse to this place. They are not for profit organization. They run through donations from people. The ladies here were very informative and helpful. They said one needs to be referred by a health professional for them to offer support. I needed a proper bassinet for the bub, but circumstances did not allow me to get one. The nurse who came to visit us for the baby's one week check up suggested that we get a Cot or bassinet as we were co sleeping with the baby in the bed, with him sleeping in a co-sleeping portable bed. After the nurse's referral they gave me a bassinet, a baby bath tub and a stroller. I had to sign off for it. They have a shop like area at the front where you can buy baby clothes I think. Not sure as I didn't buy anything.
