Really enjoyed our tasting today, accompanied by a small platter of local goodies. We thought that the Cinnabar GSM was fab, and then we got onto the shirazes…. Wow.
Both the Bloodstone and the Uncut Shiraz were delicious entry-level wines (and we’ll be back tomorrow to buy both) : impossible to decide which we preferred.
The Ernest Allen was sooooo smooth; the Obsidian had tremendous depth: we’d put these two in our “special occasion” category, given their price.

The Wuldi Cultural Experience with Mark was amazing! Such a wonderful experience mixed with great food and wine. Highly recommend.

Best experience I've had in a long time. My advice is to do the tour and tasting package. You learn so much!
Gemtree wines gave us a tour of how they make their wine, to a delicious tasting, to then finish with a tasty platter for lunch. They are Biodynamic which means they don't use any chemicals to grow their grapes and they plant & harvest according to the phases of the moon! They do this because they aim to enhance the quality of their grapes! And I'll admit. It definitely does!
Its a smaller winery, but packed with love!

We had a wonderful time here. The tasting and the food was amazing. Not only the wine is organic, also the food is well selected.

One of the highlights was the very nice staff which had in off time for us to explain everything in detail.

Dog friendly! Seating with your pup is outside under an umbrella, at the top of a hill, with a stunning view all the way to the ocean. Tastings aren't allowed outside, so park your pup and head inside to the tasting room to choose your glass or bottle of wine. Service was super friendly.
Definitely worth the visit.

Enjoyed an amazing panorama while having a custom wine flight delivered by an extremely well versed, informative and caring Tiffany. Put this place on your to-do list.

The greatest real winery experience in McLaren Vale. Superb knowledge was shared in an intimate relaxed cellar door setting. A must visit within the area especially if you love wine.

This place is a real Gem. (Sorry, how could I resist!). They were very accommodating when we arrived with our dogs for a tasting and we sat outside with a gorgeous view overlooking the valley. Excellent wines with low preservatives and a decent price through their wine club.

Gemtree was a fantastic experience.
Judy, who attended us was an awesome person! Very caring and explained all the finer details of the wine-making process and sustainable farming. It was an invirogating experience. What impressed me most was the warm welcome sign we received upon arrival.
