Gelato Bello reviews
54Ok gelato without being specially memorable. Good value for.money but none of the favours are especially original. Good for what it is but just about average.
WOW. I’ve watched this place go from strength to strength over past 15 years. Their gelato is amazing. Variety of flavours just seems to increase. Cost has gone up considerably over the years but so has its popularity - nothing that you wouldn’t be prepared to pay though. Great place all round. Shop is spotless and beautifully presented.
No no never again not a nice gelato
Very watering not a true gelato go to
Gelatissimo or dolcetti you will have a better gelato
uno shifo di gelato ciao
The best gelato you will find in SA. We usually come a few times a week even though it's a 30 minute plus drive. The flavours change regularly and they have ones that stay the same Make amazing ice-cream cakes as well. Nice to catch up with friends for dessert or with the kids. Only thing I could suggest is to make the main shop bigger as it gets really packed in summer. Thank you Gelato bello and if you ever need a taste tester let me know
Best value gelato in Adelaide direct from the maker. Surroundings austere and crowded with gelato lovers (consisting mainly of locals of Italian descent and Asian tourists). Viva Bello Gelato!
Small little place that's great for an ice cream stopover, especially with summer coming up. There's about 20-30 flavours to pick from.
Great place to get ice cream and gelato. Staff are friendly and great tasting ice cream. On warm/hot nights will be hard to find a table or spot to sit and enjoy. Not the best location for views but who needs views if you are around good company. This place has been around for over 20 years and is iconic to the area.
Not as good as it was, great gelato atmosphere,
But you can't change the quality or we'll walk.
Always see many people there every night, tasted their gelato today, was not that amazing, but still not bad
Years ago the gelato here was good. Now it’s expensive and bland. We also witnessed staff lock the doors just as a big group of customers were coming in.
Fantastic customer service was greeted the moment i walked in. The crepe and the gelati was delicious.
Keep up the good work
Awesome gelato but over priced for 2ltrs @ $29-. Especially when you get it home and find its only three quarters full with gaps below the top layer!
$24 was more reasonable but still expensive and only bought on special occasions. Perhaps the Shahin Family now have shares.
Yes, plenty of flavors and it is popular, however. The prices are top level, in trying to save a couple of dollars I asked if I could have my two flavors in two 500 ml tubs to keep them separate while buying one liter. The answer was yes but the young girl still charged us $2.50 more. The containers cost about 8 cents each, so you have lost a customer over 8 cents.
Show some goodwill and stop being so pedantic and greedy!
The ice cream flavours were good quantity AND quality (something that barely any ice cream shops have), with great price range. Only downside was that the staff member that served me was very rude. If in Adelaide at any time, I would highly recommend going after a busy day of shopping.
