Gaza Sports & Community Club

Awesome place for an early morning jog. Good exercise equipment positioned strategically around the oval. And ofcourse catch the most scenic, panoramic sunrises everyday.

Whilst a lovely grounds and staff were lovely inside of the club, our family was absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of some of the local club families at an under 15's game. Starting with a family of multiple young children being allowed to do the scoring on the score board, completely unsupervised and whilst doing so they were fighting, screaming at each other, swearing at each other, hitting each other throwing score cards and calling each other absolutely degrading names. All in front of many young children. This wemt on leading up to the beginning of the game and continued throughout the game as well. It was brought to the attention of a staff member but nothing was done to solve the issue.
Then to follow on from this, at the end of the game a parent was loudly bad mouthing the visiting club and their players. Very poor form and it definitely reflects on the club as a whole when members behave in such a poorly manner.

Chrysler car show was on and it was full. Amazing turn out. The club canteen was open, and had good service and prices.

Today was Chrysler day at Gaza oval, all well organised with plenty of cars.
Overall great facilities on a wonderful oval with plenty of parking and a great children's playground and BBQ area nearby

Not a good place to watch junior football never seen spectators run on oval trying to hit opposition side

One of the clean grounds in Adelaide, cricket nets, tennis court, cemented running path around the ground with every 100m marking and exercise equipments spread out, small play ground for children too

This recreation facility has everything - football oval, playgrounds, walking and running path, tennis courts, cricket nets, and a basketball ring. Everything is flat and smooth so even if accessibility is an issue for you they have it covered here. A backdrop of native trees and birds with the hills in the background. Overall a fantastic communit facility

Absolutely perfect oval for plenty of sporting activities. Circular walking path around the oval is nice to have a nice walk, talk and catch up with friends while talking a walk. One of the best halls for hire for any events. Playground for young children and cricket nets and tennis courts for everyone. Plenty of seating arrangements, barbeque and free fixed exercise equipments make this ground a very popular place. Gaza club members are very welcoming and supportive. Great atmosphere.

Awesome place if you're wanting to watch some footy. Also has a bitumen footpath for walking and a massive playground for the kids

Great family club and do cheap meals on a Friday night. The snitzels are big and flavoursome. Good to eavesdrop and listen in on the locals stories. V funny!

Great family friendly sports club with Football teams for all ages. Friendly members and nice facilities. Pleanty of room to run around the oval with the 600m walking track, cricket cages, tennis court and park within walking distance.

Originally named Klemzig sports club. Changed its name during WW to commemorate the battle of Gaza, Mandatory Palestine 1917.

Great playground and great hall. We tried to tape a video for a uni project on the oval not realising planes flew overhead here a lot, very loud. But easy parking

This is one of the best play ground in Adelaide. You can walk and do some physical exercise too. Additionally there is a tennis court to play tennis.it becomes a social place for get together in the afternoon and evening. You will see different people from all around the world.

Only visited here to facilitate some documents, but found the place to be comfortable and people very pleasant. Apparently it has had a big makeover, so you may be pleasantly surprised if you haven't been here for a while.
