4Good park to skate. As for automshpere, Bit sketchy, alot of kids drinking and partying around. Police rocked up a few times. The kids don't want to go back.
Awesome medium sized skatepark. Has everthing you need to progress in your wheeled hobbies.
If you're an older skater, or don't like a crowd watching you practice, only go here in school hours. The eshay to normal human ratio i the weekend and after schoolis about 90% silly kids wrecking everything 10% people who came to actually use the park.
This area is great as you have the skate park, basketball half court, tennis courts, playground, walking trails and a dog park thats nearby. There are toilets and a drink fountain as well as a BBQ and seating under shade.
The only downfall is the cleanliness of it all is really poor. As long as you go prepared you'll be fine!
Facility is very well designed by the council and well looked after by the 5118 gang NMP. I have large respect for this gang and their dedication towards their rap music and gang war. I was lucky enough to personally meet HA HOLOCOUST and BIG STEPPER when I went here. They told me stories about the bandits they have chased from the park in defence of the turf.
