Gawler Mitre 10

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, however I have a problem with their receipts. After shopping there I noticed on my receipt that my full name, postcode and phone number, were all printed on my receipt. I have to assume this is because I joined their Mighty Rewards Program. I am seriously disgusted by this breach of privacy. If I had lost my receipt I would be open to identity theft. They need to address this issue immediately, so if you are a member of their program, make sure your receipts are safe.

Very quiet nowadays, has some stock that Bunnings doesn't offer, lots of staff available to assist unlike Bunnings where you have to chase someone down, a little more expensive, not much in the way of pot plants.

Usually good place to visit for a few smaller items. Older guy in the paint section needs a bit of customer service training, everything was an effort for him and offered little to no advice.

Disgusting customer service!
Entered the store today within 9 minutes before close but knew exactly what I wanted to buy. I asked the sales person the difference between two models which I was deciding between. I was then taken to an older gentleman who gave me the right advice to make up my mind. Once my wife and I went back over to the section to get the item we wanted to purchase, the original salesman just walked off and then they turned the lights off in the entire shop and left us standing in the dark! I told them I was ready to buy the item but was rudely told the tills were closed and they had paperwork to do. I said no one even asked us if we were going to make the purchase before closing the tills as we were still customers in their store. When they called to the lady behind the register if she had closed, she said no. So basically they lied to us to get us out the store. It was only 4 minutes past closing. What got our backs up even more was when the younger sales person said to us, "we all have families and lives to get to". How rude and disgusting to say that to a customer. I've worked retail for over 20 years and I never once would say that or treat a customer like we were treated. So instead of making a quick $300 sale and leaving a good impression, we ended up being targeted by three sales people and made to feel like dirt without any purchase! Never going back here again and would tell others to do the same.

Fantastic service as soon as I entered the store. The right person assisted with my enquiry bent over backwards to obtain the required information. Great alternative to the other big hardware chain. Lots of variety and I actually got customer service. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I'll definitely consider Mitre 10 in the future.

This is a great local Hardware Store to shop in! All the staff are friendly, efficient, & helpful; with a large quantity of stock to peruse & be tempted by! Staff will order any item, if it is not available to buy when visiting. The strength of the staff is local knowledge which you cannot buy, but, they are only too keen to offer! Keep doing what you are doing! I wouldn't change a thing! Thankyou.

Good little hardware shop. Nice range, but layout is a bit weird. Customer service can be hit and miss; some workers are really nice and extremely helpful, others treat customers with contempt.

Excellent customer service and they stock a reasonable range of quality Stihl products. There is also a Stihl service technician available full time from Monday to Friday.

Jaycar agent has a good inventory of switches and electronic parts to repair anything. Pretty good range and happy staff.
