15Dr Smitt's bedside manners is alot to be desired, her arrogance is unbelievable up herself, wasn't impressed one bit with some of her communication skills, asking for explanations she just shuts you down very dismissive. That's my experience.
Great staff and Drs. Sometimes a bit late. But they have an important job and sometimes have to take extra time to take care of others and yourself. You might meet a Dr that is in a bad mood. They might be Drs but they are still human.
Wonderful Dr’s especially Dr Smit and Dr Marshall! Alway professional and always go above and beyond! The admin team are great especially Krissy.
Made an appointment a week ago put it in my phone called ahead of time that day to find out the doctor's name because I had not seen this doctor before and was told to my dismay that I had no appointment at all triple checked that the it was infact Gawler medical clinic checked the number with call log guess what it was matched. On top of it was told I couldn't make an appointment any time in the future because it is no longer a public clinic and told to find another. One word INCOMPETENCE

Been going to this surgery for 10yrs or more but last few years it's been getting worse wait times staff not helpful doctors not available.
Today I waited over an hour with a 2yr old outside to see a doctor for 1 script. I had to cancel the appointment after waiting an hour to feed and get my child home for her regular nap. So I wasted time fuel etc for nothing. Just wanted a script that iv been on for 8yrs it's just discussting behaviour by the surgery to make people wait longer the 30min for a doctor. Something needs to be done about it very poor

If you are looking for someone with empathy at this clinic, I suggest you try another practice. My grandson, who has attended this practice in the past with mental health issues, was refused an appointment for on going mental health issues, as he owed them $70.00. Even though his mother, when she found out offered to pay the outstanding amount. He is caring for a 7 month old baby together with his partner. Absolutely lacking in empathy, no regard for the safety of the baby. Avoid at all costs.
I would like to note that the nursing staff are fantastic, however.
We had an appointment for my son for his immunisations and a check up. Since we had new covid restrictions put in place I thought it best to call up and confirm a few things (masks, number of people allowed in) as such I confirmed my appointment time and was advised that it was not at 1520 but 1550 so I just assumed I may have put the wrong time in my calendar.
As we were on our way in for a 1550 appointment we called up to see if the staff were running on time because if they weren't we were going to wait in the car and feed our son. We were advised everyone was on time so we said we would come straight in.
No more than 2 minutes later I received a phone call from one of the rudest administration staff members there. Essentially she was blaming us for not being in at 1520 to see the Dr and was extremely rude about it all and really made us feel bad about the whole situation.
Then on top of this our sons details were not put into the system correctly and this caused more confusion for all parties involved.
Needless to say we won't be returning.
I understand these are stressful times but it isn't hard to still be nice to people.
I’ve seen a few different doctors at this clinic and have always had a positive experience.
All my concerns are looked into with care.
My mental health care has been also been great and even when I’ve needed referrals to specialists my doctor is always helping me and giving me the familiarity of her visits to keep me on track
Been going here for years now. Always seen great doctors and the admin staff are always friendly and helpful.
Very rude and unprofessional my partner goes to this clinic she always return home so upset as to the way a certain doctor speaks too her and makes aquersations that are so wrong. I would never recommend anyone send there loved ones to this practice
Fantastic services, thank you Dr Marshall, it's not often I feel comfortable or understood by health professionals. Compassion and experience that is greatly appreciated!
Receptionist Jill, was very rude! Spoke to me as if I was an idiot when I had questions about a consession card or just any reasonable question I had about the clinic. I work in retail/customer service and yes! Some people ask silly questions but I always treat them with respect and don't speak down to the customer! Perhaps she needs to go back and do some training on how to speak with people again! Very disappointed.
I have never been to this clinic, other than to have a look. Looks good tho.
I should have gone there rather than be misdiagnosed at another clinic there.
