Gawler Gateway Tourist Park

I have used Gawler Gateway several times for large group accommodation and have enjoyed wonderful service each time. Most recently in October I used Gawler Gateway to accommodate 66 people in the Gateway Lodge and Gateway Quarters. The staff at the Gateway Lodge were really friendly, helpful, and flexible, and organising large group bookings with them has been a breeze. Highly recommended!

Had a powered site. Facilities very clean and nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stay here regularly and have enjoyed every stay there.

I stayed here a few years ago, and I never really had any problems.

It was just me & my dog, and It was pet friendly, which is really important for me.

The location isn't perfect, but the Kudla Train Station is just down the road (easy walking distance), and both Gawler and Munno Para are just an easy 5 minute drive down the road. So it's really not that bad.

Wonderful and big caravan park, lots of powered sites, cabins and unpowered sites, nice big amenities block and very clean, dog friendly and friendly staff. About 5min drive to shopping centre. Good price as well.

Have stayed here on a number of occasions. Lovely to be greeted by your name when you go to the office. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a cabin (not usual for us, normally use a powered site). The cabin was fully equipped with towels, sheets, and even soaps and shampoo. (We thought only motels supplied shampoo etc.) The kitchen had all the usuals. The cabin (Blue Wren) is large, 2 separate bedrooms, and was very clean. Only downside was the badly damaged venetian blinds which let the sun through - definitely no sleeping in!

Lovely park, clean park but and this is a big but, the fact they have a CCTV camera in the toilets/showers hanging above the door is not a good feeling.
You can see cameras thru out the park which is ok but…. Bathrooms I feel this is a major privacy concern. The world we live in today your not allowed to take photos of children etc without permission and the park is filming them in the most private place of all. Not sure this is legal in NSW as I know it’s not in VIC. Should be warned upon checking in as I would of not stayed there….
Cameras are in both the mens and woman’s but mens had a clear view of the urinal. Not good…
Would love to hear from the park on how they justify this and prove to me it is legal….

I did not stay there but delivered a man there who lives there after having an operation. Staff were helpful to find a suitable solution for the man.

Unfortunately not a nice caravan park to stay in.no non powered sites so had to pay for power we didn't need. Amenities are very old, maybe 70's, many new cabins going in so it feels like money is the only thing on the owners mind, not the comfort of customers.for us $35 was a steep price to pay when we've stayed in MUCH cheaper places which felt so much more comfortable.

Love my stay here, very friendly staff, the toilets & showers are cleaned. It's on the main road but that's ok, thank you to the staff.

Friendly helpful reception staff well run, clean and tidy all over with nice amenities and very reasonably priced. $33 per night for powered van site. Gravel site but with nice trees planted a lawn area, playground, pool and a couple of BBQ areas. A good spread of accom types and amenities. On the main north road into Adelaide but our site was nice and quiet at the back. Very nice stay.

Playford International College music students and teachers had a wonderful stay at the Gawler Gateway Tourist Park. The staff at the Gawler Gateway Tourist Park are very friendly and super helpful. The facilities were very clean. Overall a wonderful experience.

WARNING! My son and 14 and 10 year old granddaughters were evicted from this park yesterday, after being told on Friday he could stay 3 months. My son is homeless, living in his van and had his daughters staying with him for the weekend. When he challenged the owner about surveillance cameras in the toilet, shower block where his young daughters had to go and made a negative review here, the owner told him he had leave and refused to refund 2 days fees. I went in to the office to speak with this woman and tried appeal to her and reason with. This woman said she was going to ring the police on me. I was not aggressive in any way. I'm a 65 year old Grandma. I will be be reporting this park to the Camping and Caravan Association and ringing the police to report the illegal surveillance cameras in the toilet, shower blocks.

We had a wonderful stay from the time we arrived to the time we departed. Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much. Amenities are excellent and very clean. Love love the nature area where we enjoyed an amble around with a sundowner enjoying the evening birdsong. Being 'pet friendly' was the cherry on the cake. Thank you. We will be back.

Only thing the gravel was too hard for the tent.
Had to put a cover on the ground to protect the floor and the joinable squares on floors on the inside of the tent so you could walk around.
Facilities clean and park tidy.
Large site which was great as we have a large tent.
Not really disable friendly for toilets and showers. Took my own shower chair just in case
Kiosk well stocked.
