Gawler Eye & Laser Clinic reviews
11Cant fault this clinic in any way, wonderful staff and Dr Sia is very thorough and professional, I highly recommend, today was my last eye surgery and I have immense respect for the attention and help from the office girls and Emily, Dr Sia is an incredible eye surgeon
I took my daughter (who has an ABI and in a wheelchair) for an appointment at 10: 40am to see the Opthamologist. This was a referral from Specsavers. When they called for her at 10: 47am she was in the toilet with carers and came out about 5mins later. They said they would come get her soon. At 11: 20am after asking I was told it would be about 20mins. We were still waiting at 12: 10pm and were then told we could wait in the room and would be seen shortly. Nearly 12: 30pm and I decided to leave as my daughter was hot, sweaty and agitated from waiting so long. The Dr then opened the opposite door and told us he would be about another 5-10mins with his patient, to which I replied that we had been waiting 1 1/2 hrs already and we were leaving.
During the time my daughter was waiting other patients were being seen ahead of her.
I can’t understand what happened or why but I haven’t anything good to say about the service offered to my daughter and I won’t be going back there again.
Dr Soo was very good, in fact all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Gawler Eye & Laser Clinic.
All the staff went above and beyond to help me. Thank you all so very much. Amazing service
Was referred to the Gawler Eye & Laser Clinic. I rang the following day, an appointment was booked for me, to see Dr Willoughby. Was welcomed by the wonderful reception staff, nurses, and then Dr Willoughby. After speaking with him, I was told he was booked out, but he arranged for me to be admitted for cataract operation on my right eye, right away, no waiting for a month.
Had a follow up appointment after the surgery, the next day. I had a minor problem, was booked in for follow ups.
Dr Willoughby even saw me after hours, Saturday and Sunday. Right eye now healed, and I have another cataract operation very soon. I will go to that operation with the confidence, and the knowledge, that I will be looked after, very well.
Dr Willoughby went above and beyond, any madical practitioner, that I have encountered, in my 70 years, to make sure I was cared and looked after. My partner Susie and I are very thankful and so very grateful for the unending care and attention given to the both of us, by the wonderful receptionists, nurses and especially Dr Willoughby.
Thank you all, so very much, and so very much appreciated.
I highly recommend Gawler Eye & Laser Clinic.
Awesome and friendly staff, all the girls were warm, kind and really professional. Highly recommend.
Had cateract operation by Dr J Willoughby. Absolutely professional takes his time. Some of the office staff is questionable. Having worked for medical professionals they need to b reviewed.retrained.dealing with humans not cattle
Absolutely disgusting. I would give a negative rating if I could. Do not use these God awful people.
Visited Dr Willoughby’s rooms recently as a first time patient, was greeted by warm friendly staff. Would highly recommend. They went the extra mile and treated me with kindness and respect and put me at ease.
I was referred here. And was excepted. After waiting 6mths to see someone. I got a phone call the day of my appointment and was told i would not be seen because i lived out of the zone. I advise anyone to ring and to do their job and double check before waiting. Unprofessional.
Absolutely professional practice from reception to specialist treatment. The gift of sight is taken for granted, that is why I use his considerable talents. I know of no others with his skill that is why I drive from Adelaide to Gawler.
