The kayaking dolphin sanctuary activity is an amazing experience. I highly recommend doing this.
Garden Island Yacht Club was founded in 1978, and still boasts a family friendly social community of boating enthusiasts. One of the greatest assets for any club is its members.
Located strategically to everything that Adelaide offers, the Garden Island Yacht Club is home to a bunch of nice knowledgeable, helpful folk who love boats and all things boatie. It’s a DIY style of club, deservedly boasting completion of their refurbished clubhouse.
2022 update - There's been some discontent among the club members that shouldn't affect casual visitors. Long-standing rules that concern large sums of members' money have been thrown to the wind, and this is polarizing club members, causing friction. It remains a nice venue, but members are leaving.
First time visit, very good if you're a boatie! Bit out of the way but has good facilities
Just a short visit, but well appointed club with plenty of hardpoint storage and great facilities.
Beautiful boat club. We went with my step dad and there is a dolphin bay. A popular spot for their natural breeding. There is also a dolphin sanctuary place just up the path from this and we saw WILD dolphins
Great place for real people, no high expectations just real down to earth people.not 5 star, but real and fun to be around people.great give it a go

Like a big country town. Members are always ready to lend a hand for whatever reason, just amazing.
