Gami Chicken & Beer

It’s delicious but overpriced. Not many piece of chicken for $46 and use a lot of chicken breasts which is cheaper than chicken thigh. I ate it with rice and I’m still hungry ah!

Didn't like some things and loved others. The burgers are a definite hit. Thought some things were over priced but it was still a decent meal.

The ambience, food, service are so good.this is my fifth's time eating here.super recommended for hanging out with friends and partner and for people who loves eating korean food!

Barely any chicken in any of the dishes, and each meal on a table of four came out at least 5 minutes apart.

Amazing fried chicken, scrumptious marinade with the perfect tendernous. Omggg yummy in my tummy

What a great place! Service was amazing, very friendly and checks in. The food was really good, plenty of options for it!

Kimchi pancake was not cooked, soggy/ sticky inside and over powdered.

Chickens were alright not that impressive.

The only thing I would recommend here is the cocktail drink.

Possibly the worse Korean seafood pancake we’ve ever had! It was full of onion but worse of all was a piece of sloppy dough! No an ounce of crisp! Chips were good, fried chicken was bland. Restaurant clean & staff friendly.

Delicious! 10/10 recommended! Have eaten here a couple of times and am never disappointed! The prices are reasonable considering it’s a korean restaurant unlike other places. All the waitresses are super friendly and helpful.

We have eaten at Gami Chicken & Beer twice now, both times were amazing!

Upon arriving, although it was quite busy we were seated within 10 minutes. Staff were quick to take out orders and were very welcoming & offered to go through the menu with us.

Food was quick to come out. We were impressed with the portion sizes. We ordered $100 worth of food & drinks for 3 people (and a child) and left feeling so full with 2 containers of take away.

The food itself was great! Will definitely be our new local go-to for Korean fried chicken.

Decided to try out Gami Chicken. Walking in I was greeted by a friendly staff member who helped me order and let me know it was a 20-30 minute wait. Paid $70 for a 2 person meal and went and waited. 30 mins later I asked if my order was ready and a rude staff member advised it would be a further 20 minutes. When I finally got my order I travelled 5 minutes home and found my 2 starters stone cold (I would at least expect fresh food waiting nearly an hour). The serve of chips had literally 15 cold undercooked chips. The main serve of chicken came without sauce and ended up making us both sick for 24 hours after.

I called the restaurant the night of and was told to wait on the phone for a manager. 15 minutes on hold and I gave up. Tried to call again the next day my name and number was taken down but still no call back!

Avoid like the plague if you’re after decent food/service.

I dont know why people reviewed this place 5 stars. For me, it was so terrible. I came there to eat my dinner with my family and after i ordered food, I saw a hair in the chicken box. Also, when I made the payment, i looked over the kitchen inside and oh my god, it was super dirty. I wont never eat there again.

The food was good but the experience in the restaurant, not so much.
I went with a group of friends and we ordered 3 serves of steamed rice with our order. We ordered online from the table.
One of the waiters came back saying they had no rice (which was surprising given the fact that they are 20 metres from Coles and the supermarket was open).
They suggested a few things as a replacement, and we ended up saying yes to the green salad. We got our food and, as we were eating, they came out with some "complementary chips" for the table. We accepted the nice gesture even though we had said no to chips earlier.
Later, when we were leaving, they called us out saying we still had to pay for the green salad we ordered. We paid for the salad but left with a feeling of frustration and being taken advantage of.
We did not get any money back from the rice we paid for and never received, had to pay for the salad that they suggested as a replacement and got "complementary chips" that we ended up indirectly paying for even though we said no to it when they first offered.

Definitely agree to those previous feedback re the service and food.

Apparently this restaurant is very famous on TikTok and you can see plenty there trying to make videos.

However, the food is very average. You can get better Korean food elsewhere easily.

We waited about 45mins for the table with about 10mins you can see the tables were free but they chose to ask you stand outside to wait for the cutlery to be available (they used them all).

Then when you got in, they left you the menu which is a normal procedure. However, they only later told you when you were ordering that many items were not available or sold out.

The food didn’t take long to come out, this I have to give you.
But there were so many wrong order going to wrong tables during the time of our dine in. (Ours were fine).

The staffs were friendly. However, more training could be done.

Overall, I won’t recommend you to try. Not worth it.

Totally overpriced chicken wings with tiny portion. (seriously 40-50 bucks for several pieces of chicken wings is ridiculous). No free kimchi or radish provided as any normal Korean restaurant would do. The only good thing is the waitresses were nice and friendly.

My partner and I were in town for the weekend. This place reminded us of Melbourne with a great vibe and great Korean fried chicken.

Wait for 1 hrs the waitress are friendly but the lady who I think is the manager just walking around with the hand behind doing nothing and not friendly at all. Will never come again.

I had the lunch with friends yesterday, but after that, all of us are diarrhoea.definitely not recommended!

Family friendly, courteous staff. Order taken at table, pay at counter on exit. Food taste great, the chicken pieces are large! The service is lovely but the wait time is terribly long. Not an option if you are limited in time and want a quick meal.
