Funky’s on Duthy

We had funky for lunch today & couldn't believe how ordinary the food was. All the items were stuffed into cardboard boxes which were soggy by the time we got home. The chicken was as good as ever BUT the chips were smaller & the gravy was thick like glue with no flavour. Rather disappointed today because we drove 19 klms there & back.

Funky’s chicken is the best takeaway chicken money can buy! You can taste the fresh ingredients and the staff are very friendly. You must try it to believe it!

Just moved into the area and seriously, the BEST chicken shop in the land. The freshest and best salads with a huge variety, along with a jam packed schnitty burger, finished with beautiful golden chippies. Staff were awesome, prices great for the quality of food received. I have found my new go-to and will be recommending this place to friends and family. Seriously, awesome!

Funky's is a fish and chip staple. Always great food that's never too greasy, has the right amount of chicken salt, and the team are always happy to cook our chips a bit longer for that extra crunch.
Reasonably priced, always good portions, and the guys even throw in some extra when their fillets are small.

Great food. The Chickens here are fantastic. Well cooked but not dried out. Meat is tender and jucy. Good flavour to the chicken. Stuffing, well not so good, quite bland and something just not quite right. Very coarse. Not cheap expect to pay $18.00 for a whole chicken. Everything here is quite dearer than most Chicken shops. Salads are very good, lots of flavour and fresh. Very good chips as well. Thicker style than the MaCains chips you normally get. Shop is very clean a new. Seafood is also available. Have tried so can't comment. Parking is limited in front on Duthy Street. Get very busy so plan ahead at least 20 to 30 mins. They do cater for larger orders. Some things need improving but overall I highly recommend this place.

An appropriately upmarket bbq chicken and chip place in Unley. Fairly priced, great food in generous servings with friendly and efficient service. You can tell they take pride in their food and make everything using good fresh produce. Would be keen to come back and try more of their menu but have to pace myself…!

First staff are super friendly and great people. Let me tell u the food is fabulous chips great, hotdog the best I've ever had, crumbed chicken burger month watering good. Tasting the menu one bite at a time. U need to come and try.

First time customer at Funky's and was very impressed. The chicken and chips were delicious and the coleslaw was very fresh and tasty. Very well priced and generous portions! The guy at the counter was very friendly and enthusiastic, I'll be back for sure!

Funky's On Duthy is an excellent take-away deli. Wonderful and fresh foods are offered, including the amazing chips. All their food is of high quality. As is the staff. Excellent service provided by all the staff there. This deli never falters. Thanks for the quality food and quality service.

Such friendly customer service! Funkey’s staff make you feel like a regular every time you go. The seafood range has been a tasty addition to the menu too.

We just moved into the area and found Funky's on Duthy the BEST takeaway chicken and hot chips and amazing homemade fresh salads! We have tried a few in the area and this is by far the nicest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely brilliant food in a huge serve. The price on the menu belies the good value you get.they seem pricy, but hell no! Not for those delicious and crunchy chips, REAL chicken schnitzel done in what tasted like panko crumbs and tasty gravy. Enough in one serve for two people easily (unless you're American (!?) All served in an environmentally friendly container. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Nice chicken and chips with gravy and salads were fresh and tasty. Can be a line up for service as its very popular but that says a lot about the food.
