My brother and I hiked the whole Heysen Trail recently and went to the main office to receive our certificates! Julian and the rest of the staff are super friendly, helpful and passionate! Thanks for making and maintaining such a great trail:)

We saw the sign said 'Walking' trail but it didn't state 'no bikes/riding' so we figured we'd give it a go with our mountain bikes.
Some sections were ok for riding but the section from the bottom of tent rock rd to the start of tapanappa rd was adventurous to say the least! We had to carry our bikes across a waterfall and down steep steps and rocky single tracks.
Was well worth it for the experience and the amazing views though next time we will hike it.
