Fox & Firkin English Pub

We ordered 8 different dishes, and all of them were so delicious. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely.

Amazing food. Pricey, but the quality and portions are worth it. One of our favourite places to treat ourselves to.

Nice beer garden, friendly staff.
Food was disappointing. A medium sized baguette for garlic bread barely had a teaspoon of garlic butter. Beef schnitzel was over cooked, dry, and chewy. Chose to have mash because the chips didn’t have a very good wrap and that came lumpy.

I had the Beef Schnitzel and it was too rubbery to cut the crumb and on the inside the Beef was dry like beef jerky on one half and slimey on the other half. It was inedible! The garlic bread lacked butter so was just a warm bread and the porter house steak was over cooked and inconsistent, it looked like it had been cooked, forgotten then reheated! Sadly it was not an enjoyable meal for either of us!

Very well located and the bottom of the hills, making it a great spot for outdoors afternoon drinks. The beers on tap are a good differential! The menu is quite extensive and written on a blackboard next to the bar with plenty of very English options. But unfortunately, we didn’t really enjoy our dishes… chips aren’t crunchy and a bit greasy, schnitzel was pretty average and so was the burger…

A fantastic English pub, definitely one of the best in Adelaide. The range of beers is great and the venue has an authentic English feel.

Roast Lamb with Yorkshire Pudding was what I had and it exceeded expectations.

Shared a Chip Butty with Curry Sauce. That curry sauce was sooo English and so good.

This pub has a great atmosphere, NO pokies and lovely ambience.
The food is a cut above the usual pub feed with a few different things on the menu.
Service is very good and a good selection of beers available. Well worth a visit and would recommend!

Guinness was good, vibe was on point, food was horrible and the food poisoning was the added extra I didn’t account for. If you enjoy spending the remainder of your evening in the bathroom, sit down and grab a bite to eat this is the place for you!

Irish Red and bangers and mash with biggest Yorkshire pud ever.oh yeah. I'm going back there.

This is such a great pub. We went on a sunny Saturday lunch and it was busy but we managed to enjoy the beer garden over a pint or two of bitter.
Really chilled and genuinely friendly staff.
The menu is varied…. Typical English pub grub, but done really well. The Yorkshire Pudding was sensational.
I only wish they did breaded Scampi with chips and peas…. Then I’d really feel lI was in England!
It looks, feels, sounds and tastes like a proper English pub.

I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it. The food was excellent for all 5 in our party. A little more expensive than normal pub fare but worth it. Portions are generous too. We ate upstairs which is quieter but the atmosphere downstairs coupled with the decor had me believing I was back in my local in England. And drinking Old Peculiar. Also Fullers was on tap. A spectacular find.

Phenomenal. The portions were decent and the gravy.don't get me started on the gravy. I could drink it. Absolutely delicious. Will be back to enjoy again!

The Guinness pie was delicious and it is served with mashed peas and chips. You cannot book a table, so just rock up grab yourself a table and then order your food.
