10Didn't have the cuts that I required available and what I did get was far from fresh, ended up giving it to the dog.
Great cuts of meat and the butcher is truly knowledgeable. Also has specials on the holidays. Since I started going here, I will not go elsewhere for my meats.
Had South Australian leg of lamb from this butcher. The butcher cut my lamb to the size I needed and it was sensational! Delicious!

Very fresh meat. Everything is gluten free which is fantastic for celiacs, people with IBS, wheat allergies or Hashimoto's disease. If you want a cut of meat that isn't out, they will make it up for you. I can even get un-preserved meat which is great for people with allergies to preservatives. Chicken is all free range/organic, and not drowned in preservatives. Always top service, and you can taste the difference between their cuts of meat and the supermarkets. You won't want to go back to Coles or Woolworths after this.
I have been coming here since early 2002. No words could express or do justice as to how amazing it is to have a wonderful, kind and honest guy like Steve looking after you. I want to support sole traders who are outstanding at what they do and the Forbes Meat Store has earned it's stripes many times over. You can literally taste the difference. The owner of the business takes pride in what he does and gives you a warm greeting each visit. I could never buy meat again from Coles or Woolies.
