Foot & Leg Centre

I first went to the Foot and Leg Centre back in September 2022 and was very skeptical about how they would fix my painful feet problem. Fast forward 16 months and I couldn’t be happier. Michael and his team are very professional, very welcoming and super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. From Michael the podiatrist to Wendy the practitioner assistant they have helped me get back to walking pain free without having to resort to expensive orthotics. I highly recommend the Foot and Leg Centre. These guys are amazing!

I had been having foot pain for a while, I went to the Foot & Leg Centre had a consultation and then started treatment. I cannot believe the difference that I feel now. I would highly recommend anyone having any feet issue to go to the Foot & Leg Centre. All the staff are amazing, very professional, friendly and welcoming.

12 weeks ago I walked into the Foot & Leg Centre for the first time after 2 years of major foot & heel pain in both feet. Some days I could barely walk. It was causing me grief in my work & when trying to exercise.
I can’t believe the difference I feel now. I know what to do when I overdo my exercise & my feet tire & tense & I’m able to go about my daily routines & exercises much more comfortably. For the first time in years I can walk around my house in bare feet. It’s been a fantastic transformation. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Foot & Leg Centre - you are all amazing & caring people & I am forever grateful.

Four months ago I limped in to the Foot & Leg Centre barely able to put any pressure on my right foot and the pain was keeping me awake at night. Michael Sarunic compassionately took me into his care & within 2-3 weeks had me walking again free of pain. I cannot recommend Michael more highly and thank him for his professional help. Last week my wife and I had a Velux set of windows installed in our home. There is no way I could have painted the skylight 5 metres high back then & thanks to Michael with feet back to normal, I could easily complete this task. I wish also to thank Wendy the Practitioner Assistant for her personal goodness, kindness and organisational ability.

Your feet are your foundations. Given helpful education about stretches and assistance with my feet, this all changed for the better. Also Wendy and the team are all very friendly and wonderful to deal with.

The Team at the Foot and Leg Centre have an excellent approach that is based on teaching the client how to manage their own foot health. After having foot surgery they guided my rehabilitation and I've now achieved optimal foot health. My program included regular exercises and initial intensive treatment followed by a decreasing reliance on practitioner visits. I'm very happy with the outcome we've achieved. Thanks guys.

The Foot & Leg centre is amazing, great friendly service from the minute you walk in. Michael is a miracle I've been visiting him now for almost 2 years & was the best decision of my life, with arthritis & bunions I could hardly walk & felt like I had a broken foot on my right side. He even corrected my hip alignment that was bad from me walking funny because of the pain I was in. About 6 months in I was pretty much pain free & able to stand all day every day for work, go to the gym and do all kinds of things I wouldn't be able to do if not for his treatment. Now I visit every 3 months for maintenance and will forever as long as he's there. Definitely do yourself a favour and make an appointment.

I have had the great pleasure of being a recent and wonderful success story at the Glenelg Foot and Leg Centre for excruciating and debilitating plantar fasciitis. In 12 short weeks I’ve gone from several degrees out of alignment with my R previously injured foot and overall amazing improvement on both L & R and my quality of life and freedom to be active walking without pain, are back again. We still have some work to go, and I did get given a 12 week estimate right from the start, and we are seeing those results. I had to commit and put in the homework, but it was worth it! Wendy, Mike and Michael have a great passion for what they do and they do it very well! They keep you informed and up to date and educate with video links and handouts and exercise tools, and such awesome ethics every ‘step’ of the way!

I came with a really painful heel, couldn’t walk far or stand on it for too long - after coming here I can walk everywhere, no pain now at all and it’s all thanks to Michael at the Foot & Leg Centre and Wendy is really friendly and welcoming.

An outstanding practice that make sure they are putting g your best feet forward! Friendly helpful staff and a program that is simple yet very helpful in getting you on the road to more comfortable walking and standing.

The team at Glenelg are just amazing.
I was suffering from heel pain in the mornings and took more than 30 minutes before I could walk. I was weary of doing walking trails and short hikes as I would suffer the next day. I have seen other specialist who told me I had flat feet and nothing much can be done and that I should just wear inserts.
Till I found these wonderful clinic in June 2022, they showed me what my issues was, yes flat footed, but there was more…
Most importantly they showed me ways to improve and work on my condition to improve them. I followed the plans that were shared with me and my condition actually improved. I slowly but surely strengthened the muscles on my foot to gain back the arch profile.
Result: no more heel pain in the mornings, I am doing long walks and short hikes and uses the techniques taught to me, I was able to keep going, pain free. Recently went Tasmania and hike with my 2 year old on my back, with no issues I also started doing slow walks, 6km in 60mins, and am looking to keep improving that.
I never knew that I was able to do all those activities pain free, but the team here will show you how and it really works for me, so I’m hoping that if you give them a chance, it will work for you too.
Pain is not normal, and it’s amazing ti be pain free.

I am so glad I found the Foot & Leg Centre! After 3 years of foot pain I was considering surgery on my bunion until I found this wonderful treatment option. Through hands on mobilization and simple home exercises my X-ray results have changed and I am back walking without pain. I am confident I will be able to avoid surgery now. Highly recommend to anyone with foot pain.

From the very first phone contact with the Foot & Leg Centre, I was impressed by the helpful and friendly response from Wendy.
After many months of searching for an answer to my painful feet I was so encouraged at my first visit when Mike attentively listened to me and offered me understanding and a treatment that is really working.
Every aspect of this care is made easy to follow, including very doable exercises that are explained in the Centre and then followed by a short video online. I am extremely grateful that my pain has reduced markedly.

Could not recommend Mike and the team at Glenelg foot and leg centre enough. Was suffering from ankle and feet pain for years previously and no one could find the cause of the issue. After playing sport or exercising it was almost becoming unbearable and I would wake in the morning barely able to walk. I was resigned to the fact that would be normal for the rest of my life. Fast forward 12 months and I’m pain free and all without orthotics or pain killers! Absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend anyone who has feet or ankle pain to give them a go.

I have seen many different podiatrists over the years. Even with orthotics I still experienced niggling pains and aches in my feet. After my treatment at the Foot and leg centre, I now have comfort.
I recently wore heels (for 5 hours). The last time I wore them I had to take them off after 20 minutes.

Hard feet problems? Doctors told be I needed injections in feet to get any relief from feet pain. Found the foot and Leg centre have not looked back, worked with me to relieve the pain in timely manner and no injections. They have shown me how to manage my feet pain and when I run into trouble are always there to assist. If you think you are stuck with your feet pain think again try the Foot and Leg Centre…. I went years with pain wish I found this place earlier.

I can’t say enough positive things about foot & leg centre and in particular Michael Sarunic. After suffering ankle and foot pain in my left foot for years (following a very shabby ankle reconstruction), Michael’s care and thorough treatment has me walking pain free and not even having to think about my foot! I strongly recommend Michael and the foot & leg centre to anybody suffering foot pain. Highly professional, clean and modern and all staff are welcoming and accommodating. 5 Stars!
