Foodland IGA West Lakes Shore reviews
43Staff friendly and the store is nice and clean Go out of way to help The shop next door is great bakery Always fresh
Really good place to shop.
They have the best continental deli smallgoods on the planet
Always an easy shop with practical placement of goods, happy helpful interactive staf. Always good service and quality produce at fair prices.
1st class service from Lea in the deli section.warm friendly engaging and customer service at its best. X
Lovely staff, fresh fruit and vegetables and meat. Deli is lovely but a bit too small.
They stock SA products which I love
Great attitude amongst the staff, hats off to management. Pretty much anything you could want from the bigger supermarkets can be found at Foodland. Prices could be more competitive which in today's economy they need to look at seriously. If they're not careful shoppers will drive only minutes away to Coles and Woolworths at Westfield's, however that involves the inconvenience of parking and people associated with large scale shopping centres. Great to have the option of either, Foodland provides an alternative. I'm grateful for that.
Excellent friendly helpful always smiling. Cannot speak highly enough of them. Have the best pork schnitzel in sa. If not in fridge the lovely butcher always make them specially for me
I would like to suggest that Foodland should stock meat that is not tuff to eat everytime I buy steak there, it is always tuff even when I have marrinated it for a couple of hours. I cook it slowly and it is still tuff that is the only thing have to say.
Staff are friendly, but all I have to say is ask for and check your receipt for possible double scan or specials scanned at the normal price may occur regularly
The manager at drakes foodland, logan higgins ruined my purchases by packing and scanning the wrong stuff. He has a bad attitude and wont stop arguing when i wanted to add my pensioner card. I would recommend you fire him. Do not go to this store.
I would have happily given a 5 star for the stores cleanliness, high stocked items, amazing staff.
The only thing that upsets me was the mandates for staff to continue working.
C'mon Foodland, be the change Australia needs
Ample parking front and rear, staff will drop what they're doing to help you find something if they know where it is and if you want them to point it out to you.
They have penionser discounts on a couple days a week
Includes SA Lotteries (or whatever it's called now) at the kiosk
Public transport accessable
Many local produce, especially fruit and veg. Meat is also cut up in house, and the fresh orange juice is FRESH
If you find trouble with budgeting your groceries, I recommend shopping the catalogue and look out for specials (Independant franchises such as smaller Foodlands, or IGA don't have the same buying power as the big dogs ie Coles/Woolies) but they do what they can to pass the savings to the customer
Good handy shop, Tuesday morning seems like a good time to access parking, other times (in my experience, others may have a different experience), seems a bit more difficult to find a park. May indicate the popularity of this store.
I decided to buy a Woolworths 10 pack box of pumpkin and sage arancini balls for a Melbourne Cup lunch at home, bonus! Yummy
Live on Bartley terrace, been shopping there for a little over 5yrs.have always found the employee's very helpful, happy and will drop what they are doing to help a customer in need, never had any problem or complaints, that being said.after today's experience, will not shop there ever again.plenty of other supermarkets. Me my family and my money will happily go elsewhere
Great variety but prices are high. I just buy things when Im desperate as its the clostest store to me. Never do a big shop here! Staff on registers seem to be disinterested and bored in their jobs but they are young I guess, or not trained in communication or even putting on a fake smile for customers.
Friendly staff and can always get served quickly. No queues at deli section or the checkouts. Smaller range of foods than the big supermarkets, but just a less stressful shopping experience.
So happy this place is always open when everyone else is shut. A small supermarket with a good range of stock. Even with long lines of waiting customers you get to pay for goods quite quickly.
Had what the wife wanted in her last minute hurry, so happy wife happy life!
A special big THANK-YOU to the lass on the cash register, who without any fuss, hastily grabbed a new face mask from her stash and gave it to my wife after the wife's mask's strap broke as she was being served.
Well stocked store, friendly staff. Annoying how customers dump their trolleys outside willy nilly! I returned as many as I could push! A trolley bay outside in carpark may alleviate this.
