Overpriced for quality and service

Leftover dishes and food near the outside toilets is a very poor luck

Ordered 3 different styles of pasta was served spaghetti for all 3 dishes

Had pasta dish, very tasteless. Bowl filled with pasta, 5 tiny shrimp prawns and u had to dig deep to find the zucchini. Very little sauce through fetticinni. Hubby was happy with with his meal lamb combo. Sorry wont be back.

Whats happened to Claudio?
We have dined here year after year at easter and have never been let down. This visit was very disappointing. In the past we have purchased other products eg specialty packet risotto to take home however this time not one staff member knew what we were talking about. Very different experience not the same as the old food lab we have known and loved. Very poor meal very disappointed

Have eaten here a few times. The pizzas are excellent! Don't go anywhere else in Robe. Very diligent with gluten free for coeliacs and the GF base they use is great. Great Italian hospitality.

Nice place to get dinner if you don't want the waitresses to talk to you after taking your order. The food was okay. It did take 40+ minutes to get the food to our table after ordering. The best staff member here is a pizza cook. He tried his best to keep everyone running smoothly, while the boss of the restaurant was rushing the food for people that he knew. They had about a 10 minute order to food on table time. This restaurant needs better organization. I'm not impressed and not worth $70 for 2 people. Glasses are being dropped onto the floor every few minutes. The table next to us received their entrées at the same time as their main course. How are you supposed to keep the main course warm before finishing the entrée?

Had the chicken scallopini was absolutely delicious, the owner was very generous and gave us a taste of a special pizza he had made. Amazing service, definitely will be visiting again!

Friendly service, huge menu, super tasty pizza and live music. Always a good night out at Food Lab, we head there regularly and it's always great!

Waited over 1hr 10min for 2 pastas and a kids meal.others waited over a hour and a half! Once the adults meal arrived it took another 10mins for the kids meal to arrive!
P. S a big thanks to the couple who gave our son a slice of their pizza while we waited for our dinner!
Not impressed

Great restaurant, food is good and service excellent. I would recommend the ragu pasta that my wife has taken. It tastes amazing.

Dont do it, there, I warned ya. We waited 1hour 10mins for 2 Ragu pastas and a kids meal. Others wait was 1hour 30mins. All for an average meal to arrive that included sticky pasta

Great food with lots to choose from that caters to dietary requirements, knowledgeable staff and plenty of room for a large family lunch.

The owner was even kind enough to let us charge our electric car from their 15A power socket (front corner of their building).

Decided on food lab on our last meal of being in robe to end our holiday on a good note and having it before we know it can be very good, tonight not so much after ordering went for a walk and came back had been 30minutes. (They were very busy) Got asked for a name to see how long it would be and they said 10-15minutes, 10 minutes later got asked by another waitress and they were cooking the carbonara, again another 10 minutes went by got asked and they were only starting the chips/roast potatoes (wish we didn't get the roast potatoes very small amount to what we paid compared to the chips). And for the whole 30 minutes we waited in store they grabbed our pizzas which were ready on top of the oven which I had seen when we walked in which ended up being just warm when we got to eat it. Overall wasn't bad but they could have planned to cook everything so it would be ready at the same time.

The food and service was amazing, we travelled all the way from Geelong, Victoria to try this restaurant on recommendation. The dough on the pizza was the best I have ever had and the pasta was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone travelling through Robe!

Wonderful little place serving authentic Italian style food. Pizzas were delicious and better than your average pizza shop. Chips were nice and crispy.

They offer vegan options and the dairy free cheese they use on their pizzas is probably the best I've ever had.

Only a few staff were on the evening we went (Friday night) so food was abit slow to come out but the quality was well worth the wait.

Toilets out the back are clean too.

These guys are legends, very accommodating good food. I ordered one pizza and came back 5 minutes later to get another. They even call you on your mobile to let you know when it's ready.how Good

We stayed in Robe for a few nights and decided to try Food Lab, and we were so glad we did! The food was delicious! I had the Zucchini linguini and it was incredible, I would probably say it’s the nicest pasta dish I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant! Pretty big statement, but that’s how nice it was. My husband had the meat lovers pizza and he couldn’t stop raving about it.
The staff were lovely and super friendly. Cannot wait to return to Robe just so we can eat here again! Yum!

Not too happy with my time here today, i came in with my family after looking at the reviews, immediately after we arrived we noticed that everyone was sitting at their tables with no food or drinks yet, we proceeded to order and were told that the gnocchi we came for was unavailable as no one decided to make it in advance.after we ordered it took about 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive.then we waited over an hour for our food.the pasta arrived first and it was average, something i could have made at home.then my brothers food arrived, $36 for a tiny dish that was mediocre at best.it was cold.eventually (about 10 mins later) my mum and sister in laws meals came and once again were something you could have made at home.my little brother had ordered a pizza and you would expect that to be the first thing out, yet instead they gave the pizza to the wrong table and completely forgot about his meal.at this point it had already been almost 2 hours so we got it for takeaway.you would think that was the end of our struggle but no, we went up to pay and when they said the amount, it seemed way to high so we asked them to check and we had been overcharged $120! This experience was not what i had expected whatsoever.but despite everything, our waiter was absolutely lovely and was very apologetic, so 2 starts for him!

My wife and I visited Robe last year and had a pizza here. We came back this weekend again just for the pizza. The owner and staff are amazing. We will return.
