Do not recommend buying from this company. We have an expensive heater that has had issues since we got it.
There is a recall on it, but they have mucked us around a lot and dodging responsibility
These heaters need to be taken away and new heaters given to the poor people who were given these faulty products.
This has been devastating for us as I required heated water for my health condition.
I'm devastated by their lack of care and humanity and disgusted that these people are getting away with this.
Taking this further.

Very poor and slow process for warranty work. Call centre is scripted and unhelpful for a service call at a convenient time to suit both parties. 5 hour window for an appointment at their convenience.

Freedom Pools installed my pool with everything going as planned until the Austral Water Pump P320XT leaked from the motor to impel last seal at first turn on. Seriously don’t they test these things before shipping, where’s the quality control they talk about in the video on Fluidra’s website? Classic delay tactics booking a warranty repair with numerous emails but what I need is a technician not emails. I’ve spent $14K on Austral products for this pool & this is a very poor customer experience to start the relationship.

Hello
We have a Zodiac Heat Pump ZS500 installed by Narellan Pools and under warranty. The installation is at 53 California St Collinswood SA.
On the 28 Nov 22 we had a Zodiac technician attend to diagnose why the Heat Pump was not operating. The source of the problem was identified to be the Power Board in the unit and a component on that board.
A replacement part was ordered.
Since then, we have been advised that the part was ordered, that it had arrived in SA, that we could expect installation by no later than 23 Dec, but no further contact. It has been almost 4 weeks that we have been without a Heat Pump operating.
Today, 21 Dec 22, we find out that the wrong part was ordered and that the correct part may arrive by 1 Jan 23 but if no word from Zodiac / Fluidra by 21 Jan 23 we can seek replacement of the whole unit at some further date unspecified.
This situation is totally unacceptable and we seek urgent advice about what is being done to get our Heat Pump up and working NOW.
If no further advice is provided, then perhaps appropriate feedback on social media might trigger a response.

Have had to ring this company 6 times within the last 11 weeks regarding a warranty issue. The least amount of time I have had to wait is 43 minutes, the longest, just under 2 hours. (I have screen shots of time on the phone) You are constantly reminded that "we know your time is important" and your wait time is always 25minutes or zero wait time. Neither of these estimates are any where near accurate. I would be happier if they just simply told the truth and said " we really don't give a tinkers toss about you or your valuable time, we will get to you when we are good and ready, which may be never". When you do get through, finally, you are simply fobbed off with outright lies, anything to get you off the phone so they can find off the next caller. Shocking after sales service by Austral pools.
