Flinders Ranges Bed and Breakfast

We had a lovely stay
The outside area is perfect for stargazing and loved the already prepared wood fire indoors
Great communication from the host and excellent breakfast provisions including freshly baked bread

We stayed at Flinders Ranges B&B while riding the Mawson Trail. Accommodation along the Mawson can be challenging if you're travelling light, and this place was an absolute godsend.we arrived to the smell of freshly baked bread and that was indicative of the care taken by Nigel to ensure we were comfortable overnight.great breakfast provisions, clean and spacious, and a coffee machine! Bikes were secure out the back next to the star-gazing lounges. We'll be back when we're off the bikes to stay a little longer.

Nigel’s place came well stocked with all the breakfast items you could wish for. It was clean and tidy and the location was fantastic for getting into the flinders Ranges. The freshly baked bread on arrival was fantastic!

Nobody there and when we rang the number we were told we were booked into the hotel in town!

We stayed at Nigel's in 2018 and were amazed at how much was included. We have just returned from another 6 night stay and it was even better this time with a/cons, side tables & reading lamps in the bedrooms. This time I brought my dog as we were not planning on going into any National Pk areas & it was great to be able to have her inside with me. She got on well with Nigel's dog. Highly recommend this lovely pet friendly property.

We were very well received by a very nice man who showed us the different elements to use. The studio was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was clean, well equipped and the breakfast was very complete.
I would recommend it.

Nigel was a excellent host with warm greetings and bread freshly cooked. Everything we needed was supplied including full breakfast supplies. Nigel was also helpful with wheelchair access although the property is yet not ready for all abilities. Worth staying, recommend for great accomadation.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient, great location, good facilities. Host Nigel and doggies were very welcoming.

I can’t recommend a better place to stay in Hawker. Nigel’s hospitality and fully equipped B&B must be the most comprehensively stocked accommodation we have ever stayed in. From freshly baked bread cooking for us on arrival, every spice and cereal you will ever need along with free range eggs and quality bacon.just a shame Nigel didn’t come and cook for us… joking…
Nigel gave us a run down on numerous video clips available on the TV about the Flinders Rangers and things to do and see around the area.
We had a lay day and after chatting to Nigel he suggested a trip to a local creek and water holes which were stunning and a great place for a dip in the hot weather. The dogs loved the swim.
Travelling with dogs are sometimes a problem but Nigel was very accommodating even so, as he offered to spend some time with our dogs should we wish to explore the National Park.

This was a great find. Once the booking was made an information brochure was immediately emailed to me. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Nigel and were made to immediately feel at home. The house was clean and comfortable and the home made bread was the icing on the cake. Would thoroughly recommend this B&B.

Wow, Congratulations Nigel on wonderful accommodation. Arrive to be greeted by Nigel and the smell of fresh bread baking. Thought of everything you could want from stocked fridge & cupboard of cereals. Everything was neat & tidy would recommend to anyone wanting to spent time in Hawker. Nice to speak to Nigel before we left

We had a great stay at Nigel’s (aka Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest) B&B. What more can I say.the house was immaculate, the facilities first class, the backyard an added bonus for our doggo Rusty, information videos on the Flinders Ranges really appreciated and Nigel’s friendly hosting made for an enjoyable relaxed stay.

Friendly host with fabulous information about the local area.including some short films. The accommodation is within walking distance to main street, There are generous breakfast supplies. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, local lizard and star gazing lounge chairs.

Amazing hospitality and a very comfortable accommodation option. Nigel is a great host and has thought of every little touch to make this place lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Flinders Ranges!

We would like to thank Nigel for providing us with the perfect place to base ourselves while we explored the Flinders Ranges. There was everything there that we could want, and Nigel made sure that their was even a surprise for Mum as we were taking her there as part of her 70th birthday celebrations.
We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Nigel is a friendly and very helpful host. The accommodation is very comfortable and homely and has everything you need supplied; cooking utensils, spices, breakfast items in the fridge, cereals, the lovely aroma of fresh bread baking on arrival, coffee machine, plenty of resources and information for exploring the area.
