Festival Theatre (Main Entrance) reviews
25 I went to see Frozen. Let's face it, it was a Disney Show so it was fabulous. The lighting was absolutely spectacular, the costumes were beautiful, the show fantastic the staff were friendly and helpful, the seats were very comfortable
All in all a great day. Loved it.
Saw Russell Morris in concert, FABULOUS but I think Festival Theatre needs an upgrade. What's with the blow up Father Xmas?
Went to see Russel Morris fantastic show. Good venue, except they need to start looking at their seats they are starting to look old and shabby. Apart from that, the venue is great.
The Festival theatre is a terrific place, I went to The Ballet and it was brilliant.
The evening was somewhat marred by our dining experience at The Malt Shovel Taphouse. Very badly run and totally disorganised, would not recommend it.
Excellent service during high tea pre show.
Ballet was amazing. Parking difficult, long wait to access lift to carpark after the ballet and it wasn't cheap.
Came here to watch a brilliantly acted Brilliantly set Brilliantly produced Rocky Horror Show
Main entrance area seemed pretty bare, possibly because it is used as a promotion area for large scale exhibits/shows.
What happens if OLD PEOPLE don't have CREDIT CARDS.
It certainly was a FANTASTIC SHOW.
THANK U. XXX
Cashless - the show was fantastic but no merchandise purchased my win their loss although I don't think they really care, amazing how ATM's keep dispensing money and the mint keeps printing the stuff (legal tender) but businesses are allowed to refuse
Still the same as ever since 1973. Seats are very worn inside: thin, peeling, padding squashed flat, uncomfortable.
Nice theatre, well maintained and very clean. Watched the rocky horror picture show, absolutely awesome show, well go again
The Rocky Horror Picture Show was an Absolute Treat, and The Festival Theatre was the perfect Venu for it! I had a wonderful time and the show was Amazing
#1 spot for musical and acting stage productions. Beautiful foyer with art displays and seating benches. Casual (seated) eating area; alcohol and soft drink service; audience entrances well identified; coat service; information booth; toilets, including disability; easy access disability entrance. Easy to locate. Near public transport, taxi service, undercover parking.
An exquisite theatre that entices you with artwork outside and pleases you greatly with a massive modern interior. A prestige that makes it something to be proud of.
Wonderful venue All needs are catered for and shows have good views no matter where you sit
Show was great but OVER AN HOUR to get out of the car park! Disgusting, ruined the evening.
Anh Do recounted his escape by migrant boat. Very interesting but I'd already read his published account and was disappointed that it was not a comedy show. He is a comedian.
Took in a show, facilities were clean and accessible. The wait was short at the bars, and the artwork was a great time killer before the show.
Love the shows and the staff here but the seats were old 20 years ago, time for an upgrade.
