Great hotel fantastic barman (mark I think his name was) and fantastic locals.
Being from Victoria the locals and barman made me feel like I'd been drinking there for years.
Highly recommended this place and the banter.

Fantastic place for a drink and a chat, would be really excited to see it once reno’s are done. Food wasn’t available but Mark was helpful in providing takeaway menus, all of which can be delivered to the pub and eaten inside.

We parked our caravan in car park along with several others. Friendly drink in bar. Friendly staff and management.

Firstly, just the hotel itself is worth a look - beautifully renovated by the owners.
Next, the owners themselves - Mark & Kylie - were welcoming, friendly & kind when we had a problem that needed sorting. Thank you
Finally, providing an overnight parking facility for self-contained caravanners is very generous of the owners - space is quiet, level & a short stroll to pop in to the pub itself for a drink, a chat & perhaps a game of pool.

Go there just about every Friday night and it's the best pub in town the staff are beautiful and friendly and it's a awesome atmosphere.

Heartfelt thank you to Mark & Kylie for providing and permitting us to stay at your gorgeous hotel. What a kind gesture to allow travellers such as us (Tasmanians) to park safely whilst exploring your beautiful town. We look forward to visiting you again next year. Five Stars from us!

Beautiful pub with so much atmosphere in the main bar. Mark has done a great job on Renovations. Kitchen is not available, but they can order take away from local stores that you can eat in. Lots of scotch to choose from is a great bonus at the bar!
Camping out the back car park. We had a great time here! We will be back!

Didn't stay, drove into rv Park area, no one onsite and no answer to phone on Tuesday or Wednesday as closed for renovations. Wasn't sure if was allowed to stay and park! Very small area, but good if you want a pub stopover.

What a great little pub. Turned up this afternoon in a group with three vans and six young children. We are all staying out the back which the pub offers to self contained vans then straight over to enjoy a drink. The owner of the pub went out of her way to make us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend!

Delightful surprise. Friendliest owners, awesome renovations, cold beer and superb rear accommodation for anyone with a self contained van.

Great place for a drink and get together with mates. Love what the owner's are doing to the place, great atmosphere.

This pub is beautifully restored and the owners so great. We parked our van at the rear of the pub so made sure to spend some money there. Thank you so much

What a fab pub what an extensive Whiskey list too. Publicans just fantastic (happy birthday for today). Missus and I pulled up in the rear car park, area set aside for people with self contained caravans.

So homely. Very reasonable drink prices too. No, I didn’t get through the whiskey range.

This Is CLOSED very disappointing drove for hours to get there because they advertised free camping at back carport.

Absolute credit to the owners. An old pub being slowly bought back to life. The new decor / fireplaces in areas restored and open.well.just stunning. And, the drinks are icey cold! A must to visit!

This is going to be a great pub when it's finished but it's already a lovely place. Camped out the back in a designated area. No meals as yet.

Fabulous old hotel undergoing renovations back of house. The renovated areas wonderfully done to create a great atmosphere. Ask Mark the publican for a tour the history and stories he has are great. Caravans can stop out the back for free just check in when you arrive

Awesome place for a cold beer. The renos they are doing are amazing. Mark showed us around and told us the history of the beautiful old building.
