Glad the old owner Phil has gone. Pasty was lovely. But he wasn't a publican. Place needs cheering up.

Great service received from staff! Quick to get your meal out to you. And the best bread rolls are served while you wait! Really nice food and cold drinks. ️I WILL BE GOING BACK. ️

I would definitely be back, I loved the atmosphere, service was was great, toilets were very clean.

Defi a bit of a dive bar, so no cocktail dresses and tuxedos, but 100 % Aussies and 10o% great fun

Value for money rooms, suit smokers with attached shared balcony and cheapest accommodation rates in the state. Staff member who checked me in was not customer service orientated

Best pub around but love to right a letter management how I would improve fed if I management but he must give me $20 so I can spend it on a Fri night llol wounder how cool they are if will.interesting?

Extremely rude staff, they do not respect peoples privacy. Owner is a complete A hole too rather than apologize or say sorry for staff being rude he just stirs the pot and makes the situation worse. Lost my business for life, there's much nicer places to go with much nicer people to give my money too.

Still good pub food at pub prices. Clean, not crowded staff are super friendly and efficient. At the price of food a good investment in taste and money. Go try it out.

Like Friday night's there, live bands and you can still hear the band outside so you c a n s till drink and smoke

Very dark could not even hear the songs that they were singing background music to loud first time there not impressed sorry

Worst place I've ever stayed in. We live in the country and thought it would be good to stay by the sea for a break last minute. They told us there was only one room left with access to the balcony so we grabbed it.
They didn't tell us there was a loud rock band playing directly under our room. We had thumping bass and screeching singing until 1am. The music was so loud the windows were rattling.we had to put a towel under the draughty door.as cigarette smoke was wafting up from the packed bar underneath us. We couldn't even hear the tv in our room. There were drunken noisy people shouting and screaming on their alfresco area on the street until about 2.30 am.police were in attendance twice.the Manager did nothing. We complained to the Night Manager 3 times.who said there was nothing he could do.he suggested we complain to the Owners the next day. He wouldn't even put us in a quieter room at the rear of the hotel.which we last found out was virtually empty.
We left early the next morning with about 3 hours sleep and a migraine.
We complained to the owner of the hotel.and he said too bad.we should have known that it was a busy tourist area.and his tone suggested.frankly he couldn't have cared less. Stay away from this hotel the management and owners are extremely arrogant and the rooms are dirty and extremely noisy.

Visited here on Friday night for a meal. Restaurant was nearly empty which was a surprise as the food and service were both terrific. We both enjoyed our meals and the staff were super friendly. Would definitely visit again!

The service was great, the barmaid was very friendly & efficient. She was very welcoming. Drinks were reasonably priced & the environment was good.

Semaphore has some wild nights to look forward too. The grunge the bogans the bikes oh baby! This is REAL and it's some of the best entertainment and mates you'll find

Would like to see more atmosphere, had the fish and chips, was nice, the old style building looks nice but no live entertainment or things that are unique to the actual business.just another place for good food, coin gambling and booze

The service was terrible, only 1 person serving, to take both food & drink orders.and we booked so they knew the numbers. Never go again

My first time at this pub. The staff are fantastic and the food is the best I've had from any pub for a very long time. I couldn't fault the service or food. After the meal, went down for the live band. Thankyou for making a great night

Pretty cool having live bands. There was a young kid there at like midnight, that was very inappropriate, should question the parents or report them next time. Pretty disgraceful for that little child, she deserves better.
