FBW Gynaecology Plus

After visiting this centre felt really terrible about myself and the customer service was the worst ever in Adelaide, not given the help i needed and the Specialist was not respectful at all and was providing her suggestions in a rude way. Sorry for deciding to visit them.

The admin team at FBW Gynaecology at Windsor Gardens are very helpful and nice as I felt very welcomed upon arrival. Dr Tran Nguyen was lovely and ensured I felt comfortable throughout my appointment. She answered my questions in depth and was very helpful and empathetic. I recommend this clinic!

Lovely friendly reception staff. Tracey the nurse is fantastic, great information, I felt very at ease and I could ask all the hard to ask questions. Dr Farina Behnia-Willison was also fantastic, again totally at ease, really understood my issues and got straight to fixing them! Most Drs you feel like another number but not with Dr Willison as one example I was nervous going into surgery and she was there holding my hand. Amazing! Thank you team.

I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Fariba. A truly blessed surgeon who is a meticulous perfectionist in surgical detail and aesthetics. A very approachable and empathetic specialist within her profession. Her research and work toward empowering and healing women worldwide is absolutely amazing. What a trail-blaser!

My recent hysterectomy and prolapse surgery was virtually painless (no exaggeration) and I have never felt better. Dr Fariba has also assisted in improving the area (post children) for my confidence - absolutely amazing. Please do not feel reluctant to ask the questions - nothing is too much.

The FBW Team is wonderful and warm from Reception to the fantastic Nursing team. Always approachable and patient.

Dr Fariba you are an amazing Dr…

I had my surgery done by Dr Fariba Wilson. I highly recommend her. She is an incredible surgeon. Professional, compassionate and one of the best. Her patients mean a great deal to her and you really feel that when she is with you. I am so glad I met her and felt really looked after. The nurses are beautiful they look after you and give you the comfort and care u need throughout the procedure which is very important when you feel scare or etc. Thank you FBW team for all the care and support you provide for your patients.

I can't thank Dr fariba and all her team so helpful kind and caring made me feel comfortable and welcome I travelled from the country and it was no issue. All appointments and checkups were made to suit and thought of us travelling. I highly recommend

Dr Fariba and the wonderful staff at FBW were so efficient, caring and professional. I was so anxious and in so much pain. Within a week I had my appointment and my surgery and after months of being in pain from endometriosis, I am finally starting to feel like my old self again. Xx

Getting older brings not so pleasant ailments. The one I'm addressing today is incontinence. It's embarrassing to talk about, so where do we go to get help. I was so lucky that my GP referred me to FBW. A Gynaecology Plus Beauty Clinic where women can go and not feel uncomfortable. The Admin Staff are just so beautiful. I mean friendly, caring, understanding and extremely approachable. My first appointment was with this amazing female Gynaecologist who set out a plan for my hopeful recovery. One of the procedures was a "MAGNETIC CHAIR". This apparatus tightens the muscles in the abdomen, and it works a dream. Honestly, I only needed a couple of sessions before I noticed that I had control of my problem. It's so comforting to know that I don't have to accept living with incontinence. There is a way to control it. More people need to know about this fantastic Clinic with this this amazing Magnetic Chair.

I had a procedure under the care of Dr Fariba Behnia-Willison. From the first appointment, I felt like my concerns were understood with empathy. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and kind, a true doctor and one we need more of in the world. My procedure was performed without issue. Aftercare was thorough and I was provided with all the required scripts, support products, and information to make sure I would be okay while healing. Many thanks also to the nurses and administrative staff, who were all equally kind, knowledgeable and ensured the process went smoothly.

I absolutely can not recommend Dr Nguyen enough, she is incredible. I initially engaged with a different gynecologist at another practice who dismissed me, didn't listen to my symptoms at all and told me I absolutely didn't have endo. Meeting Dr Nguyen was a godsend. Dr Nguyen has always taken the time to listen to me, explain my treatment options and has been caring and kind. You can tell that she sincerely cares about her patients.
I underwent a laparoscopy with Dr Nguyen and have been diagnosed with endo. She kept me calm and was so kind to me when I was scared during my surgery which I appreciated so much.
The staff at FBW are absolutely lovely, friendly and always happy to help. I can absolutely recommend Dr Nguyen and FBW Gynaecology Plus

Fariba is one of the most caring and kind doctors I have come across and actually cares about your health and well-being. Have been a patient of hers for years and trust her with my life. Always makes me feel comfortable when I visit for an appointment.

Dr Fariba genuinely cares and is highly skilled and that is one hell of a package to have on your side. I would like to thank everyone at FBW for helping me with endometriosis. I now have two wonderful children and am recovering from my recent surgery. After being dismissed by countless doctors Dr Fariba listened to me and got me the care I needed efficiently. I can't recommend FBW enough.

Doctor Fariba is very kind and made me feel comfortable and heard in our very first consult. Fast forward a bit and she diagnosed and removed my endometriosis yesterday and I could not thank her enough for what she's done for me after 14 years of pain and 9 years of doctors not taking my pain seriously, until I found her. In theatre she made me feel comfortable right from when I laid down on the table, in fact everyone in the theatre did-they all had such amazing energy. I could not recommend FBW and Doctor Fariba enough.

I am eternally grateful that Fariba has chosen Adelaide for her practice. Women suffering conditions which she treats would have no other option. I watched my mother be treated with our 'evidence based' professionals who offered the standard treatments, all of whom admitted to not knowing about other treatments being offered worldwide. (and there are many). My mother lost her life because these treatments are not available in Australia. I urge all women to do your own research, find out about all your options and don't hesitate in placing your faith in Fariba and her team - she's the only one offering something other than the standard norm being pedalled by our Medical 'experts'. Thank you Fariba for giving me hope and treatments that work. You are a God send in this close minded profession

Absolutely can not thank these beautiful people enough for what they have done for my mum, my grandma and myself. The team at FBW are lovely.

My experience with FBW and Fariba has been nothing less than amazing. She is so genuine, caring and empowering and makes you feel comfortable to address anything and everything because of her deep, genuine and caring nature. I have been so grateful for her wonderful advice and service and I think so highly of the clinic, it's staff and her influence - particularly regarding their values, morale and genuinity. She is an absolute professional at what she does and highly recommend her and her services as a health professional.

Left feeling absolutely terrible about myself and not given the help i needed. I have since gone elsewhere and received amazing care and proper treatment. Was told my only luck at weight loss which isnt even the reason i was there was to use saxenda and not spend money on anything else otherwise i will likely die at the age of 30. Yes thank you that's a wonderful thing to put in a young girls mind. Absolutely disgusting. Also please tell these women the side effects and long term effects of saxenda so they are aware of what they are doing to their bodies.

Would highly recommend against going to this clinic.
2+ years ago, I decided to see Dr Fariba regarding a slight issue I had been having, as the ratings and reviews seemed quite good.
Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here which has left me needing to pay for therapy to try and fix the issues she has created.
I went in, we discussed the issue, she "diagnosed me" within the first 5 mins without considering a single other option. Just said I need PRP and laser ($3,500).
The first session, I was given no numbing cream or pain relief of any sort. I only realised it wasn't right when I was numbed on the second treatment. I was in excruciating pain for the entirety of the first treatment and had trouble walking normally days afterwards, as well as bawling in the treatment room as the pain was unbearable.
Unfortunately it made the existing problem worse for a long time. Eventually I went off birth control for unrelated issues, and the initial pain cleared up, but the pain from the treatment didn't ease.
On top of the 3.5k for the "treatment" they sold a lot of uneccesarry creams and tablets to, bringing the cost closer to 4k. Oh, and advised me to see a nutritionist at the same clinic, who told me to stop eating dairy, like that would resolve all the issues! (I, being a dumb, impressionable young woman believed them, as they were the "experts").
Since then I have also had to attend psychological therapy so I don't have an enormous amount of pain and become extremely upset and anxious at the mere thought of anything going near the treated area.
20/10 would not recommend unless you want someone who couldn't care less and just wants to rob you of thousands of dollars.
The whole experience with Fariba and her team was horrible and has left me with physical and psychological damage years later.

Edited since seeing their reply. This account is owned by J. Bielby. You will find my records on file and I'm sure you will also find the complaints I have made to your team. Complaints about the treatment, professionally of your gynecologist Fariba including all of my allegations against her. I am mentally too unstable to bother seeking legal help with this but if I had the money I would. This practice is a money hungry pathetic excuse for women's care. I was appalled and have since recieved treatment elsewhere. I recommend steering very VERY clear of this place. This place is NOT for you if you are struggling with finances AND it is not for those with mental health issues because of the way you are treated.
