Farm Fresh Fruiterers reviews
21 Sold me a two watermelons that were starting to become mushy on the inside. They were not sweet and again the texture was just wrong. I have family that are farmers and just know when things aren’t fresh.
Called up to ask about an exchange or refund and the person on the phone (presumably the owner) started talking about scammers wanting free stuff after I asked if they want a photo or for me to bring the watermelons back.
When I got there I talked to the staff and one of them even said that the current watermelons on the stands “can’t be trusted” since they’ve been there for a while. When I eventually talked to the manager/owner (person on the phone) he said the uncut one should be fine and put it back on sale then agreed the cut one was off. (There were literally rotting ones at the bottom of the box!)
I was only looking for an exchange since I’ve came here previously and it’s been fine but the attitude made me want a refund… Which they didn’t want to give back in full because I paid card? (They didn’t tell me this reason but I heard)
They took away my receipt from me and tried to tell me the amount I paid was different Eventually got the full refund back after I showed them a photo of the original receipt on my phone
Would NOT come here again
Good variety and great value. So much cheaper than the supermarkets. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Very popular good value fruit and vegetables ground floor parking can a problem cos of its location
Stumbled across this place by chance on a whim visit as someone who’s not from the Northern suburbs and was really surprised by the quality and prices of produce.
The pomegranates and persimmons in particular are the cheapest I’ve found in Adelaide and were fantastically delicious too. I would definitely return if I were in the area again.
I always buy my fruit & vegetables from here. The produce is always fresh and a lot cheaper than Coles & Woolworths. The staff are always extremely friendly & helpful. I highly recommend shopping here.
Stumbled across this place by chance, and glad I did. High quality fruit and vegetables at excellent prices! Ate a banana that tasted like an actual banana, and only cost $0.99/kg! We bought a bunch of stuff for the week and in total it all cost just $36. We don’t live nearby but we will be back. Definitely worth the trip.
Great prices and excellent service and staff.
Just got a lettuce, carrots, bananas and tomatoes for $7.50 winning.
Hands down the best Value for your weekly greens and fruit. Being vegan, I can't afford to shop anywhere else. I park at parabanks. Friendly service always.
Salisbury is the best place to go to support independent Green grocer's. Not to mention how much cheaper and how not only are you saving money but you are supporting local farmers families and small business.
Some staff and the owner of the store are extremely rude. Seems if you are not Muslim the owner can't say hello or smile. I do not recommend this shop to anyone avoid it. The fruit and veg are not good. Avoid and go elsewhere there are more fruit and veg shops close by better and friendlier.
Great place to reduce your shopping bill. These guys sell fruit and vegetables that maybe isn't the prettiest, but still tastes great, and is healthy and nutritious. Great little store
My favourite fruits and vegetables shop. Always fresh stuff and reasonable prices.
Staff is also very friendly and helpful.
This place has been here for many many years, but the same principle applies, great costumer service girls are great, a smile go's a long way. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and tasty.
There lots of variety of fruit and vegetables, Asian and European goods, eggs, and Afghan fresh bread.
Huge selection of fresh produce.
Very clean and well presented shop with nice staff.
I do like going to the F. F. Fruiterers their products are perhaps a little better than the other green grocer further to the west but they are dearer i go to both but they both are very cramped not much room for shoppers and service is bad at the one further to the west so must be patient and dont be tempted to steal you are on camera ha.ha.
Fresh produce is delivered daily. Unfortunate position on John Street with civil work going on right across from the shop. Also a nicotine smokescreen drifts from the nearby coffee shop/cafe.
We always do our veg and fruits shopping at this place, reasonable prices, you can get pretty everything at just one place, very smiling and friendly staff, always love to go to this place, great experience every time, recommend this place to all
I shop here several times a week. Always being looked after and treated above well. Once a worker dropped what he was doing to run accross the street to get me a trolley! Totally was unnecessary but it made me feel great. I just had to share how well they look after their customers:)
I'm a regular, I have a good relationship with everyone there, we are lucky in the to have so many fruiterers to choose from, the competition benifit is good for us consumers.
