Eureka Tavern

Went for a feed, this particular pub is never busy so I never worry about booking when attending. On this particular occasion when going there was different managers running the night and I was able to tell she wasn’t very professional and confident due to this break in the system, the body guard was not doing his role and smoking in his car “relaxing” workers on the floor were rude and slow with service. I was never offered table bread and the whole night was spent on staff focused attention on a birthday party $$$ staff weren’t checking on any others in the room and when it came to wanting simple takeaway containers or to ask for it waited 15minutes in a quiet room before being attended to. Had a chat with the apparent manager who couldn’t handle the situation appropriately but instead put blame on customers for not standing up and being simply assertive themselves to stand up and get a container if that was why we were upset? Never heard of a pub/restaurant make this as a new rule. All thanks to Lucas and he should be paid more for what he does in that place! As well great service, excellent customer service and professional support dealing with customer needs/questions

Good atmosphere, place for kids to play in. Enjoyed our night, well worth the drive for a party.

We eat here most Friday nights, McKayla is our waitress more often than not, McKayla is an absolute delight to chat with and will go out of her way to help.

Great location, great service and food was amazing.
The place has an amazing selection of schnitzel toppers. I had the Ned Kelly as was sensational.
Value for meals is good.
Would definitely book and eat here again.

Not a good place to go at all security are racist and don't respect you at the door would not recommend at all and manager is also racist don't bother with this place

Decent service. Decent kids meals.not expensive. Scales on one person's fish was the highlight.

A bit ordinary considering they boast having the best snitzles in South Australia definitely not the best by far

Excellent service today. Came in with my mum and a deaf friend and staff were extremely accomidating and communicated with our deaf friend. Food was amazing. Big serves and good prices. Will definitely be back again soon

Had dinner at eureka tavern tonight with family, table 17 have to say food was great best steak and cook to my liking.thankyou to jen and friendly staff and great service.

The food was cold, the garlic bread tasted like they put minced garlic all over it and not cooked it, the beef snitz was raw in side, the fish looked like it was left out for a day, th mash was cold and had no flavour, the veg was still hard and had no flavour tasted like water, the base on the pizza was soggy, the bar tender was rude. Was not a good experience wouldn’t recommend.

Absolutely a disgrace of a place, ruined a 21st birthday, as soon as they got the money they wanted us out of the venue, cut off drinks at 10: 30 without telling anyone and charging us until 1am, we were promised a full sound system and had to play music off a speaker because it didn’t work, promised microphones for speeches and they also didn’t work. Would never recommend this place to anyone, staff just sat back and judged everyone all night.

We had dinner there tonight, meals were lovely and staff were amazing and very friendly. Cleaned the tables straight away. Nothing was too much when asked for anything. Definitely will go back again

Nice place to visit in a free time always go there to have a beer and play pokies and the staff is respectful

Always enjoy this pub getting a drink placeing a bet and playing 8 ball or playing there pokeys

Snitzel are their thing, plenty of toppings to choose from. Reasonable prices. Indoor kids play room. Friendly staff.

Nice friendly staff but meals weren't very nice the beef snity's too thick not nice and thin so had to burn the crumbs to cook meat and chicken snity dry had no Atlantic Salmon and they only had 1 other table of 8 and my the 250 gram steak was pitiful only coleslaw for salad and chips lukewarm was for a Birthday Dinner only 8 people wouldn't bother going again.

Won a medium jackpot on first visit, very popular for pokies and open late, probably the last to close in Northern Suburbs.

Meal was great, but was a mixed response on our table of family.
Service was great but main meals took a while to arrive at our table.
Apart from that I was happy with what I got on the day.

Considering there ment to be well known for snittys, they where bad, cold chips served with some shredded salad Wouldn't go there again

I love Sam the security guard here he is great at his job and definitely deserves recognition for the great job that he does. This venue should feel very lucky and appreciative to have him there as much as he is.does a better job than the other security they have there at times. Staff are great too very friendly and kind always cleaning the machines and always happy to have a friendly chat they also do a great job. I like the Nepalese/indian (sorry not sure what nationality he is) I think he's a manager there but he does an awesome job too. Very kind.
