Food here was very ordinary at best, Chips tasted like they had been pre-cooked, chips tasted bland, although they had Chicken Salt on them, Chicken tasted uncooked. The female owner was very rude

Went downhill for a while with the last owners but the new owners are back in force great food and great people

Honestly pizza was spectacular. 2 nights in a row since reopening. Thank goodness original pizza guy is back. He has magic hands I swear. Goodluck to the new owners?

Just got the same pizza and again sensational. This time the owner made it. They know their stuff and I was was able to get it for lunch mmmm mmmm

Adding to my review my son loved his meat and BBQ sauce yiros. And as for my yiros pizza that I was craving allllll day. Hit the spot. Bloody delicious

Experience was nothing like everyone elses with new owners. Killed the whiting and barramundi, bones and scales galore with the whiting, I'm not talking a little normal amount, I mean a lot. It was so over cooked it wasn't even worth peeling all the bones out in the end.
Boys said burgers were alright but weren't brag worthy.
Chips decent but thats about it.

The lady was rude and you only get few pieces with falafel it wasnt even a meal not worth a buck.

I am wondering if they have improved.
Two orders in a row stuffed up after the new owners took over.
No apology, I've not been back.

The only reason I’m not giving 4 stars is that I haven’t tried anything other than the fish and chips.

This place is a total hidden gem (although not so hidden if you’re a local!)

The chips are consistently top notch. I’ve never had a bad meal from here, well priced and customer service is excellent!

I’d drive past “that” place on Semaphore Rd any day to get get my fish and chips from here!

Bought a pizza there for dinner and found a worm inside while eating it.went to return it for my money back and manager and workers were very rude towards and me and didn't seem surprised of what was inside, very disappointed

Very friendly staff and we all enjoyed our food. Will definately be back again. They are also open later than most.

I love the food there, an Turkish lady runs it now. The food is to die for, well done.

Nice friendly staff unfortunately not informing customers of changes order $10 of chips which would normally feed a good amount of people only feed 3 kids under 6 and a 13yr old. Nuggets are amazing but was embarrassing showing up to a play date with barely enough food for everyone. Even they stated just within this week they recieved twice if not 3 times the amount and were very shocked at the drop in quantity

Although this long established and greatest fish n chip shop of the area has a policy of being closed every non public holiday Monday, it has always stood the test of time and 'under new management' change of hands. The quality of food and always friendly service from great people truelly is 2nd to none. I highly recommend to all fish n chip shop lovers.

The new owners have got the burger with the lot dialled in. Truck loads of lovely caramelized onions with perfect bacon, nice big fat juicy pattie and a man sized amount of fresh salad, the bun was toasted just right. It's the first time in my life I've thought there's a bit of skill to mastering the timeless classic that is a burger with the lot.

We are very dissapointed, we have been going there for years and now new owners have taken over the food is over cooked, my partners hamburger was burnt the dim sims were burnt, and my chips were over cooked, will not be going back there.

New owners, same ingredients mostly, and same recipes. Value for money is still high. Recommended.

This place rocks on all levels. Best take away in the region. Excellent service. Excellent food. Great pizzas.

Delicious food & very friendly service. One of the best takeaway shops in the area, definitely pay a visit if you're in the area.

Found this place by accident and I'm so glad I did! Enormous range of fresh, tasty food, prepared by cheerful, friendly staff in amazingly clean premises. They're close enough to the beach for the fish n chips to still be too hot to eat after a few minutes drive.
