We spontaneously decided to eat here and it was a fantastic decision! After traveling around Australia for a while, we were craving some really good Italian food - and we definitely found that here. The pizza had a wonderfully thin base and had great toppings, the gnocchi with Gorgonzola was simply fantastic. The salad with parmesan and the delicious balsamic dressing was also a treat! The service from the two gentlemen was extremely friendly, which made our experience a highlight, and the price was more than fair. We can definitely recommend this place!

A really lovely Italian restaurant, delicious pizza and specials and outstanding service - friendly, enthusiastic and professional, they even gave us recommendations for where to go for drinks. All in all a great dinner, thank you!

Food was awesome! Pizzas were amazing! Rustic wood oven style Italian pizzas with some unique flavours on the menu. Got my food quickly and service from staff was great. Had some pretty good international wines aswell, overall great experience

Do not go to this restaurant. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Firstly, the customer service was horrendous - waiter had zero interest in attending to our table, was dismissive and barely checked up on us and didn’t clear our table for ages until we requested him to do so. I requested a heater for our table as we were freezing outside - then learned that there was a vacant table upstairs in the warm dining area (nice right?). My booking was clearly not a priority for this restaurant, the staff weren’t even that busy and seemed to prefer talking with one another than attending to our dinner.

When I raised my complaints with the staff, I was spoken to in an aggressive and confrontational manner - the waiter was ready to have an argument with me. I am completely disgusted. His whole demeanour was aggressive, rude and completely unprofessional.this person should not be working in the hospitality industry, or any customer service environment. He should learn to accept customer feedback, however angry and frustrated a customer may be, no staff member should ever respond the way this guy did.

Second, the food took almost an hour to come out - mind you the restaurant was extremely quiet. The pizza was extremely thin - not the type of light tasty thin, but it was almost as if there was barely anything there to eat - bland and plain is how I would describe the food. I think the owners of this pizzeria (if you can even call it that) should re-consider their current staff, as I have never been treated like this. I am truly disgusted and will never dine at this place again, nor will any of my party.

Finally, I had a massive cheesecake for my party of 6 (yes 6 people) and came to find that my big cheesecake box had been thrown in the bin, with no regard as to how I would carry the rest of my massive cheesecake home - common sense clearly is not common.

This place is totally overrated after seeing all these reviews I had to look twice to see if I was in the right place - No I Didn’t enjoy your pizzas they were bland, burnt bits of cardboard - if it came in a box it would have eaten the box- no reason to come back here at all - sorry for being so harsh but you did take my money

Love love loved this place. Very Melbourne-esk. Super cute place, intimate setting, great view of the Botanical gardens upstairs. Super delicious pizza, handmade. Got the potato pizza and it was sooooo good

Love EST, we've been coming for years. Eating in is always the best when it's fresh out of the wood oven. The changing wine list on the blackboard is always bringing something exciting and worth trying.
Staff are friendly and always welcome us back like family.

Est has so much visual potential a lovely atmosphere, however, the lacklustre pizza dough barely resembles a Neapolitan pizza dough. It lacks basics such as seasoning and yeast. Small adjustments can turn a negative dining experience into something else. The pizzeria needs to put in more heart to their product instead of resting on their East Tce laurels.

The feed me menu was perfect! Great value and easy to share and split bills. Service was so friendly and meals came out in perfect timing. Food was YUM! Also the room upstairs was so cute and felt like we were in Italy with the windows open looking out. Will be back!

Really love the base's for the Pizza's here. The Spinaci was literally amazing. One of the best pizza's I've had. I just kept wanting to eat more. It was amazing and will definitely be back for more. The service staff were also very friendly and attentive.

Definitely a 3.5 star restaurant. There are so many great pizzerias in Adelaide. This one is pleasant and delicious, but often can lack the stretch and fluffiness in the pizza bases. The Wine list is great though and the staff are very friendly. Cannot complain for a regular spot. Gluten free bases available, try the baked gnocchi! Tasty. $30-$37 for a pizza and a great vino.

So Smokey inside (upstairs) from wood oven our eyes were burning. Took sooo long to get our meals and the place was mostly empty. For a place that does just pizzas they tasted ok (don’t touch the potato pizza) but the bases were sooo thin it was hard to pick up the pizza slice. Service was ok. So dark upstairs we had to use our phones to read the menu. Definitely not a restaurant you would go back to.

Upstairs was so Smoky. Long wait for food. The pizza base was like pita bread. The toppings were nice.

Top grade woodfired pizzas made by people who understand what makes a good pizza. Toppings are well thought out and work perfectly. Also, the wines are all the same price - tell them what you like in your wines and they'll select what's right for you without having to worry about price point.

Staff are wonderful and friendly, the restaurant has a beautiful relaxed atmosphere and the wine list is great. The flavours and toppings on the pizza are great, but as a wood oven pizzeria I think they're really being let down by the quality of the crust.

It is a bit sad, flat, and lacking in that wonderful stretchiness you get from well developed gluten. I'd almost assume that the crust was gluten free. Maybe it is? I didn't ask.

I think we're spoilt here in Adelaide with some excellent pizzerias producing really great crusts. They're investing in the raw materials and more importantly, the proofing time, to create a really amazing result.

There is so much good to say about this restaurant and they've been doing well enough for themselves, so who am I to judge? But I think a little focus on the basics (pun intended) could really add to the experience.

Wine was nice, pizza was ok, polenta was average. I was expecting polenta in a porridge like consistency but it was a loaf. I think they used polenta that you would normally fry for polenta chips.

We had the amazing waitress Heather who was not only a lovely human, but had immaculate taste in wine. She was so helpful and accomodating; the highlight of our dining experience and is a real asset to the business. The food, wine, atmosphere and service was excellent. Will definitely be returning!
