Es Ceramics reviews
15 I organised two tickets to a Saturday afternoon workshop at Es Ceramics for my partner and I as a belated birthday activity. We have always wanted to try pottery and have a ghost moment: P
We headed along to their stunning warehouse & store in Thebarton; and had the best afternoon learning how to do wheel thrown pottery & a rougher hand moulded clay.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely; it was definitely a challenge but a welcomed one. We had great guidance and one-on-one time each for two very laid back and talented humans in Shane & Dani. I would highly recommend - incredible value for cost, 3 hours of fun & active meditation!
An absolutely awesome place to get creative, have fun & learn some pottery. I did a 6 week wheel throwing course & came away with 7 items which I love. The teachers were very patient and you get hands on straight away. Would highly recommend this pottery studio & very keen to do another course again soon!
I loved their pottery courses so much I took them twice! Sophie and Dani were my instructors and they did really well with teaching fundamentals when I first began, and being flexible when I wanted to explore more. Would highly recommend for any beginners or first time potters!
Shane & Dani run this gorgeous studio/shop - I’ve absolutely loved their workshops over the past 2 years, always the highlight of my week. They have classes for all levels of experience, it’s so fun. I highly recommend!
I surprised my wife with a saturday workshop and can't recommend the experience enough! We had the best time and the instructors were amazing!
We had such a lovely experience at ES for our once off workshop at a blottery class. The teachers were attentive and patient which was very much appreciated as complete beginners!
Had an awesome time at the workshop. Instructors were super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
I loved my recent 6 week workshop at Es Ceramics. With absolutely no prior experience I was warmly welcomed into the group and supported by the instructors. The classes are flexible and relaxed, allowing you to learn at your own pace and explore your creativity. I’m hooked and will definitely be back!
Loved my stints at Es ceramics. Good location and facility, staff are friendly and helpful and its a great learning atmosphere. Won't hesitate to go back to master my skills.
I did the pottery class in Feb 2022. It was very fun and well- run. The staff were super helpful and my bowl and mug turned out great! I’d definitely recommend.
The 6 week throwing course was so good I did it 3 times in a row! Dani and Shane are amazing teachers, both so helpful and patient. Highly recommend!
A fun and educational session with a great bunch of people. Next stop, their 6 week workshop!
I did a course in wheel throwing and it was really fantastic. The teachers I worked with were lovely, very patient and knowledgeable. The whole vibe of the studio was fun, supportive and creative. The owner Shane was great to chat with when he was around, and also very welcoming and supportive. Will definitely be doing another class. I got some lovely pieces out of it and it was so nice to let my creativity flow, and also witness others doing the same. 10/10 would recommend!
Es ceramics is a beautiful pottery studio hidden away in thebarton. Dani and Shane are fantastic instructors with lots of knowledge of the pottery process. Definitely come here for their workshops and courses if you want to give pottery a try. 10/10 would recommend.
Shane and Dani are great instructors. Their 6 week course went through the entire pottery process for throwing clay, perfect for a beginner like me.
