Enfield Hotel

Family weekend trip, we had 5 rooms in total. Rooms were clean and we had plenty of room, We dined twice and all 12 meals were great both times. Good location for all the events we had planned for the weekend. Thanks!

My granddaughters and I had our birthday dinner here. The service was great and the food was delicious

Waited for ages going through the drive thru, ended up getting out the car to go in and grab what I wanted myself. 2 staff on 1 poor girl running around trying to do everything while the other chatted away to someone.

Has good rooms. I didn't see an elevator anywhere. I didn't try the food. Room service only had chips.

Basic and old hotel but the beds are very comfortable and the service is good. Location is convenient being close to the city. Parking is available, laundry is there for coins, and there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags.

Went for lunch today was ok but my son finished his meal realising he had hair in his gravy he was not impressed obviously we brought it to the staffs attention only to be told it was cotton yeah nah it wasn't

This hotel has wonderful serving staff and their customer service is really good however, the adult mains food is very average. I have tried this hotel twice in the last few months and the first time I returned my food after waiting approximately an hour it came out luke warm and over done. I decided to try again the other day and the kids meals were AMAZING they came out fast and were very generous in size but again there was a long wait on the adult mains and once we received our meals we were disappointed again. This hotel has so much potential the food is letting the place down a huge amount.

If i could do less than one star i would.
Frozen prepared and very over priced for what they serve in the bistro.
Service was extremely slow with little or no acknowledgement from the wait staff.

Had a beautiful mushroom snitty, we arrived with 10 minutes left to order and they were still happy to accommodate, codes to the chef.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch today, the meals were all great. Friendly relaxed bistro with happy staff and great customer service. The manager Sheree was very welcoming and had a cheerful attitude. We look forward to coming back again soon.

I got the rissoles and they were really good but really fatty.my BIL ordered a burger that was a little dry and tough. It's a gorgeous place and the staff were amazing but the prices seem high compared to the quality.

Well I spent one night there and it was aweful the room.wasnt cleaned properly the sheets felt like grit the bed and pillows were aweful the kettle was broken my daughters bed sheets were dirty she had to swap rooms then in the other room there was used soap in shower and shower gel so much for cleaning very poor not happy won't be back carpet dirty our room smelt musty very dissapointed

Although I have experience from multiple occasions of dining at the Enfield Hotel over the years, this review concerns an unplanned weekday lunch in November, 2022.
Myself and my party were very promptly and amiably attended to by the waiter who was faultlessly considerate and well-acquainted with the menu.

The surrounds were clean and well-appointed in the dining room (this is not unusual for the Enfield Hotel but should be pointed out for praise).

Our meals, which consisted of drinks, entrees and two main courses, arrived soon after laying the order, were finely presented and held excellent portions for a commercial kitchen (frankly we ordered too much, not expecting the Enfield Hotel to give liberal portions as other restaurants have stinted our portions and overcharged).
The food was delicious beyond description, being fresh, flavourful and big. Despite being famished, we would not have eaten it all if not for the poignant taste beating down resistance.
If in the neighbourhood and searching for a dining meal, not a drive-through, there is simply no other restaurant to recommend than the Enfield Hotel.

Great value for money. Fantastic service, good quality food and the beer is cold. Recommend a try.

It was just ok. Big open space, felt quite cold and was dark, not in the way of temperature, and not quite vibrant enough. Meals were reasonable, although the special I got, Beef Rogan Josh, wasn’t quite up to what I was hoping, and have had much more flavoursome and well portioned meals elsewhere

My partner and i booked accommodation online and arrived to find a very pleasant and friendly ball of joy. Her name is Cheryl and she made our experience a clear 10/10. I would highly recommend you come down and say hi and stay the night. We will definitely be back =D

Never had a waitress spill sauce over me not once but TWICE! Absolutely appalling and not even a free drink offered! The waitress wasn't even serving our table for one but as I was sitting on the end of the table I ended up wearing sauce as she rushed past. Please management make sure you train your staff better and maybe employ some old school values and give a bit back when things go wrong.

Staff are lovely and helpful, rooms are comfortable and clean and everything you need downstairs. On top of that room prices are the best in the area! Happily come back again ️ A weary travellers haven.
