Edithburgh Caravan Park reviews
64 By far the best caravan park I've stayed in. The amenities and community feel are next level. Rain shower heads in the bathroom, camp kitchen with great features, paper towel dispenser near the BBQs, disposable baking paper sheets for a bbq cover, basketball court, bouncing pillow, lawn chess board, clothes line and dog friendly.
Then the community aspect where Sarah and Damian (managers) host frequent bbqs and morning pancakes. Offering for people to come together, eat food, have drinks and share stories. Just gold coin donations, which they then donate.
I can't recommend them more! Great location, close to the jetty and breakwater, pubs, bottle shops, supermarkets all close by.
Absolutely loved it.
Can't fault this park, the staff are super friendly and prompt, the amenities are well cleaned and maintained. Kid friendly, dog friendly. Amazing!
Stayed for the Easter long weekend on powered sites right next to the playground. Had an absolute blast. The owners are lovely the most friendliest couple I’ve met. Our kids loved the playground the bathrooms were great everything was perfect. We suggested the playground needs to be fenced like the jumping pillow and the manager took it on board. Such a great couple to chat with. We will be back
Sites are small and gravel. Some are grass which would have been better. The toilet situation needs addressing. They need cleaning more regularly and need more of them.
We stayed 3 nights in a powered site. Great spot under a big shady gum and right in front of the jumping pillow so we could sit back and relax while the kids played. Amenities were some of the cleanest we've come across ever in a caravan park. Laundry facilities were fantastic - large, modern, commercial washers and dryers. All BBQs had grease proof paper provided, making it easy to cook on and clean afterward. Beautiful foreshore location, with amazing views. Lots of little places to see nearby, walked to the jetty and tidal pool. Dinner was nice at the pub watching the livestream video of under water by the jetty while we ate and the surf shop was great. Really friendly and helpful locals. Checked out the wind farm and the pink lake nearby. For a small town it made for a great place to stay with the kids for a few days. We will definitely be returning.
Bit old and tied, but very clean a top position on the ocean and York peninsula for a few days to relax and enjoy the great drives around the area.
We had a lovely stay! Beautiful, clean park overlooking the ocean. Generously sized sites. Clean amenities. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic location right on the seashore. Friendly and helpful staff and wonderful cabins.
We booked for 1 night and stayed for 3.
Unpowered sites are a reasonable size and well grassed.
Camp kitchen is well equipped and very clean- it was a pleasure to use while the kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow.
Fish cleaning station at the front of the park is useful & keeps that activity out of the communal kitchen. Pelicans also gather while fish are being cleaned- its lovely to see these brilliant birds up close.
The bathrooms are clean and well organised- each shower cubicle has its own new mop & bucket (genius!) Making it a no brainer for maintaining the cleanliness through the day.
Laundry is also clean and well maintained. $5 per load.
Lots of CCTV through the park, but we didn't notice any security issues or antisocial behaviours. It was a very pleasant stay at this park. We would come back again.
Park is nice, n the location is beautiful, but, depends on where u get site/ bay one hv to walk a long way to amenities, and more work should be created between bays, so it is easy excess
Friendly and helpful staff, clean well appointed amenities and my unpowered camp-site had a million dollar view over the water. Cant really ask for more.
Location lovely. Weather awful cannot blame that though. Very windy on the sea front. Short walk to high street which is very handy.
Two of us stayed in a beach front cabin. 2br with queen bed and second room with 4 bunks. Our cabin and the entire park was well maintained with helpful and friendly staff. All linen, tea and coffee supplied. Magnificent views which we could enjoy when it was a bit windy and too cold for outdoor activities. Great A/c comfy day and night. Bring plenty of supplies as the local shop has a limited range. Nearest Grocery store we found was was Yorktown. Only stayed for 2 nights but highly recommended for a relaxing break.
Very windy on the beach front. Were placed in the area with old facilities. No mention of new facilities when booking. New camp kitchen lovely. Man in next van was smoking and the wind blew it straight to us.
Nice enough spot.
Wonderful place, Beautiful location, Staff very welcoming and helpful, Cabin Modern, clean and Comfortable, Facilities amazing fish cleaning Station may need a clean down, other guests have not kept it clean as they should. Highly Recommend and have plans to return
Only went for a boat ramp permit but the service was great and with a friendly helpful person.
Sonya and Shane Are Very Friendly and So Eager To Please. Facilities Are Plenty and Amenities Are Very Clean and Comfortable.
Accomodation OK rating 3/5- single kitchen for all guests rating 1/5- Rudeness by arrogant staff — rating zero/5- they have history of yelling on guests as in other reviews. They rush into your cabin right at check out time for instant inspection to yell and shout on you face to face. Even if guests make a mistake there is a nice way to convey your concern. Authorities should notice recurring attitude problem.
Pathetic service. Only one kitchen for all the guests. Receptionist was kind of having hostile attitude.
The mozzies here! They're living in the water tanks and the (unscreened) sullage drains. Eaten alive! Only one star but 5 "mozzies" for this place
