Eclipse Hot Yoga reviews
13I was lucky enough to attend Eclipse as a member for 7 months and I can't express how much the studio brought exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it most. Eclipse's classes were always there to keep my feet on the ground. Stephanie's cohort of instructors teach in such a way that each of their classes feel unique and authentic to them. It is a sight to behold, and they make it look and feel effortless. A sincere thank you to the beautiful Eclipse team and this very special place! I hope our paths will cross again soon!
The most inviting studio with sessions emanating warmth, expertise, flexibility and enthusiasm. Class selection during the week and their times are excellent. The instructor are attentive and always open & smiling.
Before I comment on the studio, I’ll give some info about myself - I’m not thin, not fit or flexible, gender diverse, neuro diverse, and not really the strongest believer in spirituality.
From the very first session, I’ve felt welcomed and accommodated, and not once have I been made to feel out of place or like I wasn’t yoga-ing good enough. The instructors encourage you to take classes at your own pace and according to your own ability, based purely on what your body needs at that moment. There has never been any pressure to be or do anything in particular, only support and guidance. I even tried a couple of other studios closer to my house, and ended up back here.
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I took the leap and tried yoga for the first time, but my experience at this studio has been nothing but positive for my physical and mental wellbeing, and I have no plans to stop coming along to classes. If you’re curious to try yoga, leave your apprehension at the door and give Eclipse a try.
My partner and I joined in on the intro pass then had to keep coming back. All instructors are carefully vetted, highly knowledgeable educators. The eastern wisdom slotted in while I’m struggling to hold some challenging pose or another is always timely.
I unfortunately can't come in the class because the trainer Amanda refused to let me in because I was late. Fair enough but under a heavy rain and knocking the door trying to find the right entrance for 7 minutes out in the rain is really disappointing. First time getting rejected at the door in the rain.
I understood there maybe a short of staff but no one at the reception and no one heard me knocking for 5 minutes.
I have no one to blame but regret coming to this place in the rain at the first place. I should have been able to told beforehand of this rejection. So I didn't have to be rejected at their door.
In replying your reply:
I appreciated for your prompt reply regarding this unpleasant visit. Like you agreed on there is no one to blame about the misunderstanding or miscommunication about being late, but I was blamed by the trainer today. I respectfully asked her if there is any other ways to let me in, but she refused and closed door with the attitude that it was my fault and she couldn't do anything about it. Just before she rushed to close the door and leave me in the rain, I.asked her name and she said with an attitude that I was welcome to contact the owner. It looked like she was so sure that she was doing a fantastic job as the owner would shut the door and reject me nonetheless.
When you say there is no other way, I can think of ways to really be politely and explain that why I can't come in and state that late notification beforehand. Also there could be ways of enroll me.in the next class available tonight rather than just wanting me to go. I.think if you welcome people and you're genuine in this industry, you can find many ways.
I have been to a number of pilates studio and hot yoga practices, it's the first time that I felt so disappointed that I couldn't find any other reason to come back and try again.
I came into this place where I expected to be able to rewind and enjoy the exercise both physically and mindfully. However, the trainer's attitude and way of solving problems were really disappointing.
Eclipse is a beautiful and intimate studio and teachers have fostered a safe and welcoming space. Thank you for welcoming me into your cozy little community
The Eclipse yoga space, the instructors and owner Steph and all as equally beautiful as each other. Eclipse is my favourite yoga space to practice in and Steph offers so many amazing workshops on top of the variety of classes per week. I cannot recommend this studio enough!
I first discovered Eclipse through an inversion / headstand workshop which I have wanted to do forever, it was good to learn the techniques that I was struggle to do on my own at home. I've been back since as I love the studio, it's not too big/overwhelming with heaps of people in the one class so it's a good fit for those who want some personal space.
A calming space with welcoming, friendly teachers. Classes to suit all levels. Love the variety of styles on offer.
A really lovely space, all the teachers have been really welcoming and have loved all my classes so far.
Beautiful space, friendly staff and quality teaching. Have been to many hot yoga studios before and this has by far been my favourite!
