Had great experiences with staff and my Dr for three years here. Read low star reviews and was horrified. People often get told what they DON’T want to hear….

One or two negative reviews shouldn’t turn you away from this place, it’s nerve wracking to seek help but you need to be open to letting professionals do their job. Stop googling medical advice, Instagram and TikTok isn’t a substitute.

Treat the staff there with respect and you’ll be amazed how accommodating they are. I was terrified attending my first few appointments but the staff were friendly and I never had any problems.

I don’t see rude staff or conspiracy big pharma worries attending here… Grow up Adelaide, stop being malicious. Stop biting the hand that feeds.

Vital service, highly recommend. People are more likely to complain than give compliments, look how silly all those one star reviews are.

I see a wonderful psychiatrist who has helped me get my life back. I had some incredibly dark times that I couldn't have changed without their help!

I have been going to the Eastern Community Mental Health services for a year now and I'm not pleased with the treatment Ive received. At times some of the doctors and staff have been very unprofessional with me. They lie and twist your words they play mental games with people who are already in a fragile state.

Psychiatry is corrupt and they fit their own criteria for a delusional disorder. It's an early death if you take pills that claimed to fix chemical imbalances but instead they create them. They will never say any serious side effect that they give you is caused by them. In reality the entire drug is one big side effect!

Your business involves psychiatry don't play those games, I'll be filing an affidavit and suing certain dr's that were involved in causing harm and lying, covering up information because they think the system protects them. Doesn't work that way, outside of jurisdiction. Sending a summons out in due time

I hate this place and anyone or anything afiliated with it.
It is riddled corrupt they conspirer to abuse there enslaved persons.
It's a death camp
I would watch it burn if It caught fire and prey.
Even the local police don't agree with there intrusive scare tactics.
The acts and rights s.a. Cat Hold need to be abolished.
They have kept my quality of life poor for 20 plus years.

Out of the many years I've been coming here I've only ever had a problem with one doctor, the rest have been genuinely interested in helping me.

The co-morbidity specialist, Vita, is second to none. She gave me strategies to cope with cravings, provided support and she genuinely cares about her client's mental health. Very kind.

I also had a social worker, Tom, who was really supportive with my goals, helped me with paperwork & was just a great person to have a chat with.

Absolutely horrific experience. Never realised how worthless I was and undeserving of help till I came here I see no point in trying to get better anymore

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews on this place. I've never had any problems with the people that work here. They've helped me quite a bit with my mental health and I am beyond grateful for their help so far.

Some of the staff and services I have been involved with through ECMH have been absolutely wonderful, and incredibly talented in their clinical field. However.it is a very “Black & White” gamble with the staff. They are inconsistent, but have acknowledged this is a problem. Some staff fail to build a rapport and it often ends in an argument. Lack of understanding and communication on BOTH ends (yes, myself - the patient) means that meetings and treatment is often a negative and confusing experience.

But, there have been wonderful workers and opportunities. I’m giving it another go though. There are many people who work and support ECMH, so if there is a bad experience with one person it doesn’t mean the next person won’t be bad. And thankfully, they ensure you have support, even if things are difficult and hostile.

Literally the worst experience I’ve had in my life. No real care shown by anyone, they don’t seem to wanna care either. Just real awful vibes from the nurses and doctors

As you can tell by recent reviews i would Highly recommend to go elsewhere.
Staff are NOT equipped to help people Suffering with mental illness. This place is a Failure to the system.

You're more than likely to come out of there Way worse than when you went in. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! Do some homework on psychiatry and the drugs before they con you into taking anything. Save yourself and family.

Shocking attitudes and abysmal skill level in the staff and doctors. They are not able to properly treat people with mental illness. It's truly sad the public system is so broken. Go elsewhere.
