They have awesome staff and rooms for people want to have a long weekend or long term leaving. They can also provide rental accommodation which can be cheaper. Strongly recommend!

I don't understand why there is not a 12-month waiting list to get accommodation at this amazing bed and breakfast. Honestly the photos do not do justice to how incredible this Bed and Breakfast is, and my fiancé and I are so excited to have found this little gem that will become our regular getaway! The host is incredibly warm and inviting. The suites are a credit to his skills in retaining the heritage of Australiana in bygone years while providing the modern comforts we expect. The price is extremely reasonable considering the quality breakfast provisions and all amenities. So many little personal touches and thoughtful elements make this such an inviting place to stay and come back to over and over again. Thanks for an amazing stay, looking forward to getting back there.

Great location, 5 mins from the train line and in the door step of the Barossa valley. 10 min walk to the town centre.
Very nice, welcoming owners.
The room was great, huge lounge, kitchen, bar, bathroom & private pool table, we loved it.
Clean rooms, clean sheets, warm beds, a fridge full of tomorrow's breakfast! You can't go wrong. We will definitely back!

I have to say 5 stars all round I have stayed here once before and loved it, this time is no different the room is very cosy and enchanting, the log fire was grand kept the suit warm all night, owners are very lovely people.definatly will be my go to accommodation when ever I visit gawler and highly recommended to freinds)

The stars say it all. I've never stayed in such a beautiful and well set up B&B. The rooms have everything you could possibly need.

From your past bad reviews I see that its always someone just out to discredit you, I see that you don't actually do anything wrong because you have 4.5 stars there's no way you could so that, you take pride in your business and it customers that keep it running, yes I can see that now I apologise for leaving my past review explaining my entire stay for future customers to see and you have deleted it, I agree with you your customers need to have a good look at them selves. Il explain again for your customers, we are flood victims that have lost everything, our family was paying for us to come down and say our goodbyes, and if the owner stated that he would be evicting us from the room before hand I would have paid for the room myself but it was a family funded trip.all explained to the owner but only cared about the money as he said " he has been burnt before", but from all flood victims we would like to say thankyou for your support and compassion and understanding at this time of great devastation. I don't want your putty buddy but what I can say is why should the community support someone that done what you did mate over our father literally saying his goodbyes to his father and because as you said you needed to go to Coles and grab milk we had to leave the room lock it up and we could go back inside when he was finished and paid for the room at this stage I didn't pay for the second night our of principal, say what u like change what u like delete what you like nothing changes what you done and unfortunately mate a bad businessman's worst enemy is a disgruntled cuatomer. You did have an opportunity to rectify and explain to us you have been burnt before but you chose to be the food business man u did good on ya mate

A bit noisy with a main road nearby but that didn't worry us too much as we liked the accommodation. Old but meticulously clean (just how I like it). Plenty of food supplied. Lovely, proud owner showed us through.
As I was in a moon boot I had to be very careful of all the carpet mats and couldn't use the spa bath.
All in all we enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. Fantastic room with fully stocked fridge. Had everything we needed for our one night stay. Welcoming and friendly staff and super helpful.we will definitely stay again when we’re up that end of town.

Has to be one of the hidden gems of gawler. Spent 12 months going back and forth for work and everytime I made sure I stayed here.

What a wonderful find. We had 4 couples all in their own suite. Best place we have stayed at for our joint holiday trips.

For a year I was working back and forth between Sydney and Gawler and stayed at the E&FBB. Because of the COVID outbreak, I had to stay in Gawler for 6 months straight. I couldn't have been in a better place, home away from home. The location is super convenient, and the surroundings are quiet and safe. The best bed and shower ever! And last but not least, the Team - Gary, Leoni and Carol are so friendly, caring, pay attention to details. When I'm in SA again, I know where to stop. Thank you!

Just beautiful. Travelling from Victoria to Darwin with dog. Perfect accommodation for the 3 of us. Comfy bed, and 5 sheets. Secure off street parking for our car and trailer full of personal belongings. Every amenity needed to stay long term ir required.
Breakfast-bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, cereal, OJ, tea/coffee… And for the evening sweet fix.chocolate biscuits too. Exactly the same as a 5 star accommodation in the CBD.
Oh… the silence was wonderful. Slept soundly. Big back secure/fenced area for your pooch too

I was looking for a place to stay for my birthday weekend. As soon as I scrolled to this place. I was like, yes, this is where I want to stay. Loved the place. Love the history. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Great breakfast selections. Gary and Leonie are wonderful hosts.

An awesome place to stay!
Clean, comfortable and a cool mix of modern and old style. A LOT of thought has been put into the stay and there are a number of ‘small’ touches that made it that extra bit special for us.

The breakfast was a stand out - fresh, sizeable, healthy and delicious.

The staff were very kind.

Last minute accommodation staying at this hidden gem in Gawler. Beautiful setting with lots of history mixed with a modern twist. All comforts accomadated
including fridge stocked for a yummy breakfast. They have thought of everything that if you just won't to relax and stay in you can. Thanks for a great stay Gary and Leonie
