Dyson Road Medical Centre reviews
7I’m in new in the area, after calling 5 different medical centres, Here at Dyson road were the only receptionist was very nice and helpful. Got my appointment and the doctor Kanyi was on time and súper profesional.
I just called in regards to needing an appointment, as no where can get me in. I’ve been extremely unwell for a few days now, have even been into hospital. My usual GP wouldn’t allow me to come in because of my croaky voice even though I’ve had a PCR test - and because I haven’t visited the centre in a year; I’m not eligible for a phone consult. So this lovely clinic got me an appointment, as they can hear I’m extremely unwell & in need of assistance. Couldn’t be more grateful! Brilliant customer service & can feel they genuinely care about patients. Made my stressful morning a lot better.
Easy to get into, the receptionist is lovely and the two drs are punctual
Dr Sandhu is rude and lacks any form of rapport with patients. Can clearly see he is also rude to fellow co-workers. Please find somewhere else that will give you the time of day and genuinely care about your well-being! Wish I could give no stars at all.
Had an appointment for 3: 40, I arrived at 3: 30 and was seen at 4: 20. The doctor that saw me did not take me seriously despite clearly being able to hear my sickness and my partner also explaining my symptoms (coughing up blood, muscle aches, throat and lungs feeling like they’re on fire, barely being able to breathe, very strong fever ect ect) my cough is very very raspy. All of this in mind (especially the coughing up blood part) the doctor looked at me for 5 seconds…
5 SECONDS! I WISH I was making this up, literally only 5 seconds and said “you have Influenza A and a sinus infection” then told me to drink water and take some pain killers…this would be all well and good if I had only been sick for a week but it has been 3 weeks and I have atrial fibrillation and asthma which this doctor knew and my partner explained that my heart was being affected by this.
I asked if I could be given something to help and I was given a “keep up your fluids” and then he walked away as we tried to ask more questions (the appointment was being held in my car)
This doctor could have prescribed antiviral medication, made sure my heart was okay or given me something for my lungs.
Waited ages for a 15 second long consultation total with a doctor who has no care for his patients. Doctor literally came out, asked for my symptoms and then looked at me from a distance for 5 seconds and told me I have influenza A.
Will be going elsewhere to get some antiviral medication which helps with influenza.
Don’t waste your time at this clinic.
These guys got me a appointment almost straight away even though I was frazzled and abrupt the receptionist, Sarah, was courteous and helpful. Felt much better after seeing the doctor
Booked a 9.40 am phone consult. By mid day, I had not heard from anyone. I contacted the centre to be told phone consults will be done when they have time. Why did I need to book an appointment time? It is poor enough doctors run late all the time but to say we will contact you when we are good and ready. Very poor service. I would give no stars if I could. Find another practice who cares about their patients
