Dymocks Glenelg

Staff were nice, but assumed all stores were stocked similarly so was disappointed when there were no games like I saw on the website but I guess my own fault for not checking availability at the store when I saw it was available to be delivered to me if I ordered online

Glenelg is fun, but parking has become difficult, especially for those of us who are not able to walk far. We circled the block & got a street park on our 3rd time.

Wanted info about certain books. Signs around saying "ask one of our friendly staff". Yeah, right. Chap and lady behind counter, chap serving. Girl not doing much. I'm waiting behind customer being served. Another woman comes to counter and Girl decides to serve her, ignoring me. Talk about ageism. I'm a mature woman. Seems those who are young and vibrant get attention when us older people are simply ignored. Very invisible. Walked out. Both looked at me but never said a word. If Dymocks intend to promote ageism then I certainly will not be shopping in a Dymocks store again!

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. Great selection of books and easy to pre-order.

I. Love. Dymocks. It's full of books, books and books. It smells of books. It wreaks of books it is, in a word, magnificent. And the staff are the best, smart, sharp, worldly and wise. Go here, go often, go now! (Just quickly check opening hours!)

Just browsing in store & came away with a great book on training techniques for older people to keep fit & strong.

This book store is excellently stocked for both adults and children. The Staff are very helpful and friendly, I thoroughly recommend Dymocks as an asset to the Glenelg community.

I visited this particular store at Glenelg & they have been my absolute favourite. Its pity that they don't have another store at Marion, Brighton, Hove or South Glenelg. There is a few empty shops at Westfield Marion because of Covid 19.

Good staff, helpful, friendly. Ordered a book in, was told 2 weeks, they rang in exactly 2 weeks to say it had arrived.
