Dunstan Adventure Playground reviews
37 It's indeed a very adventurous and nature based playground. Lots of fun for the children with a flying fox, different kinds of swings, sandpit with running water, a big slide, bridges made out of ropes for balancing and practicing monkey bar skills.
The bike track is also attached to the playground so overall a beautiful playground in a beautiful spot and area.
And it's very cool to watch the buses from a higher hight to slide across oban.
We did notice a few unsafe things that we communicated to the council. The one bin was overflowing, the side of a rail was a bit detouched so if anyone would hold on it and put their weight on it would make it very dangerous for falling over down on the other side and thirdly the bark on the bottom of the big slide was moving away from the landing spot and there was a big rock uncovered on which children would land and hurt their bottom or back.
What a change from 2 years ago! Slides 'tunnelled' up, flying fox also upgraded. Nice spruce up with washrooms and BBQ.
Great little playground! We stumbled on this accidentally while exploring the bike ways. My 2.5 year old loved the overhead flight path and frequent bus way zoomers. Plenty for little and big kids so if there is an age gap with your little ones this is a great spot. Cycle to and fro for that added nap fuel.
Great playground for the kids with a long slide and just five minutes drive to the Catholic Church of the Holy Name. Plenty to do and a picnic area as well. One of our favourite places.
Lots of fun for little ones, and older children. Also, a lovely fresh environment.
Feels like you're far from the city. The walkway along the creek, is lovely too. Lot's of hidden gems.
Lovely relaxing place to enjoy nature. Bring food for the ducks, and the fish.
Good picnic location.
Good playground equipment for the kids. For the extra thrill seekers take an old sack or some material for the slide.we used to ride our bikes down it but the landing area has been 'upgraded'
The grandkids love it.
Is it possible to have shade cloth put up. Mild Spring day and the giant slide was too hot for a chlds bottom.
Great playground for the kids with a long slide and just five minutes drive to the Catholic Church of the Holy Name. Plenty to do and a picnic area as well.
Small but one of the best children parks. Beautifully located. Biggest attraction is the extra long slide
Good playground close to the river and a great walking path from the playground along the river in both directions
It's a great adventure playground and walking by the river. Only drawback is no public toilets.
Huge slide, plenty of other swings etc, OBahn bridge and linear park/river right next to it.my 4yo son loves it!
Went with mum and dad and my niece. She enjoyed it just as much the "big kids" Until it started raining with in about 5 minutes of us getting there.
If you come here looking for a water dispenser, you're out of luck. Why would they put a water dispenser on a playground? That's illogical. Use pond water.
A very steep long slide with dangerous landing on hard surface. Tail bones at high risk. I fractured mine. Forced me in bed for two weeks. It needs a quick fix.
One of the best playgrounds I've seen. Two slides including a giant one, three swings, three see saws.
Lovely place for kids to and enjoy the long slide and obstcle climb. Parents can walk on the linear park or go to the new walkerville shops and get a coffe from the bekary.
Dunstan adventure playground is located by the Torrens river. This play space is built on a slope. There are a lot of play facilities here. The most distinctive facility is a long iron slide, but the slide will be hot in the sunshine and it’s not very smooth. There is a small parking lot near it which has less than 10 parking spaces.
One of the best public playgrounds in metropolitan area. Love where this is located, along the Linear Park trail and surrounded by nature (creek, ducks and birds) beside the River Torrens. Kids love playing and watching O’Bahn buses in here.
Suggestion: Would be good to have a toilet nearby specially for kids.
Great Fun and a good place to get fit climbing the huge stair slope to the huge long slippery dip, even fun for the oldies
