Dudley Wines reviews
58Very good wines in a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately the “button is very little”. It's definitely worth a visit.
We stopped over for a while before boarding to Cape Jervis.it was our last meal in Kangaroo Island, was perfect decision.has beautiful scenery with amazing food.
Spent a very pleasant couple of hours here.beautiful wines and seriously the best prawn pizza ever, enjoyed over the stunning view. Sparkling Shiraz was a delight!
This place is seriously 10/10. The food was amazing and the service was out of this world!
We ended up buying a bottle of the ‘Dudley Ripple’ it was delicious.
My partner also tipped the young lad working there as his service was just amazing.
We will definitely be back! Thank you so much guys x
Wine, cheese boards and some more wine. With a side of golf balls.
A very picturesque space to enjoy drinking local wine whilst overlooking the the strait between the island and the mainland. I will be back and will be sure to recommend it to others.
Beautiful setting, great for kids with playground and even golf putting. All staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help us. Would definitely go again
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dudley Wines, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from my perspective. The first thing that struck me was the mesmerizing view. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by breathtaking scenery that seemed to stretch for miles. The combination of the building interior and the sparkling ocean created a picture-perfect backdrop for a winery.
The service at Dudley Wines was exceptional, and the staff made me feel right at home. From the moment I stepped foot on the premises, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff members were knowledgeable about their wines and took the time to answer all of my questions. They even offered personalized recommendations based on my preferences, which I really appreciated. Their friendliness and attentiveness added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit.
Now, let's talk about the wines themselves. As a wine enthusiast, I was delighted by the wide variety of options available at Dudley Wines. From crisp and refreshing whites to bold and robust reds, they had something for every palate. I particularly enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, which showcased the winery's expertise in producing exceptional cool-climate wines. Each sip was a delight, and I couldn't resist purchasing a few bottles to take home.
Overall, my experience at Dudley Wines was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of the stunning view, friendly service, and outstanding wines made it a memorable visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wine-tasting experience in a beautiful setting. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just starting to explore the world of wines, Dudley Wine will surely leave a lasting impression.
Just gorgeous views and gorgeous wines! We did the self guided tasting and it was fabulous! Had a great afternoon there.
Absolutely stunning location, great staff. The wine is a winner. Thanks for a lovely lunch experience. ️
Unfortunately we were unable to visit your widely advertised winery as we were on Kangaroo Island just Tuesday and Wednesday and were disappointed that you were closed in spite of it being peak holiday season.
Amazing day once again to visit.
The pizzas and wines, service, along with the views are incredible.
Thanks for having us at such short notice.
Such an incredible place, I got to enjoy a wide range of wines with a breathtaking view! The staff were helpful and friendly, I will definitely be coming back!
Wines and food was great, but booked for 13: 30 on New Years Eve and they failed to inform us the the kitchen closed at 2, baffled!
What a ripper of a place, the view sets it apart along with the ample space to enjoy it.
If you have limited time this is a place you have to put on your list to do.
Friendly staff, nice wines, amazing pizza, we had the lamb yeeros pizza. So delicious.
The wines were pretty good too.
A gorgeous wintery afternoon on a girls weekend away was spent with the most gracious and knowledgeable Ray! A delightful wine flight through their range with 6 bolshy, loud and extroverted women - all handled, watered and fed perfectly by the team at Dudley’s! A perfect afternoon - we will all be back, your hospitality, warmth and humour stole our hearts.
Just simply worth it. Came on a recommendation - but just wow. Amazing view, beautiful wines, fantastic pizza. Don’t miss.
What a place, what an experience! The scenery is absolutely stunning, the pizzas were yummy and most importantly, the wine an the staff are just on point and beyond! Darren took the time to answer all my questions, pretty cool, friendly, and knowledgeable dude. Guys, if you're on KI, this is definitely a must see!
Awesome views great service and really nice wines. All reasonably priced.
Loved this place.
Great view - Terrible service. Emma was amazing! However the man with the curly silver hair (Ray) was quite obviously stressed out. No atmosphere & no personality! We were there to celebrate my mothers 60th birthday and had a table of 7.
Only bookings are allowed to have tables and chairs joined together and moved and as a walk up you’re not allowed to move the chairs or tables.
There was a booking that had a table pushed together but we weren’t allowed as a walk in - which we feel there is no difference. If there is, it wasn’t communicated to us.
When a member of our family asked to move a table, Ray rudely interrupted, and shot her down, and spoke over her in a passive aggressive manner. Shouting over other patrons. If you can’t have walk in’s then don’t bother.
As industry professionals this experience left us wishing to explore other local businesses, where we went and spent our funds where we found and received sensational service. To note we didn’t even get to try your wines as Ray left a bad taste in our mouth that no wine can remove.
My advice would be to not open if you don’t have the staff. Even the staff mentioned to us that Ray was always like this. She was embarrassed by his behaviour.
If you want a excellent winery with fabulous local knowledgeable, friendly staff then ask for Mel or Julie at False Scape. Excellent in what they offer and even treated my mother to a complimentary drink and a celebratory glass to take away.
A classic case of process getting in the way of the vibe. No “Rays” of sunshine here. It’s a NO from me.
