Good shop but it's so cold you just want to get you groceries and move on. Would be a much better experience if it wasn't so cold in the store

Drakes Seaford is my go to place for all my groceries, since my family and I moved to Adelaide 24yrs ago. It’s close, convenient, I can do my whole shop, staff are professional, helpful regardless if they are new to the shop or have been there many years. They have some amazing promotions currently the Hot wheels! My 3 year old grandson thinks he is so lucky when gran gives him a new hot wheel car! On the other hand his 5 & 7 year old sisters thinks it’s not fair, I told my 7year old that I would ask drakes to do a promotion for little girls, she thought that was a great idea, fingers x

First time I'd been to this particular store. I didn't buy much, but the variety was equal to other supermarkets, and the service was great.

I find all the Drakes, Foodlands & Romeos beat Coles and Woolies hands down when it comes to stocking Australian produce.
That's one of my main reasons for travelling a bit further to shop at Drakes Seaford.
The staff are friendly - on my last visit the staff member went out of her way to take me to the product I was looking for.
A lovely young man served me at the cash register.
I do prefer to shop at a South Australian company and the products range is often far superior to the 'major two' multinational alternatives

For years this has been our go to supermarket but have noticed some price variations so now go between Drakes and Woolies. One example at the moment is Farmers Union Greek Style Light Yogurt 1kg. $6 elsewhere but your price $7.70. Hopefully things settle and we can go back to only visiting one supermarket.

I was disappointed by my shopping experience at the store. Despite coming here occasionally, an employee followed me around and made me feel unwelcome by saying "if your not going to buy anything leave" and followed me out the store. I was just listening to music browsing for a snack for my lunch. It's a shame that a work place would allow this kind of behavior from their staff. But ever since that experience I came here less often as for how awkward I felt then.

Lots of different varieties that other supermarkets don't have, friendly staff and clean store. When they do have specials they are very good prices

I bought some nectarines some cherries and some apricots i was so happy because they were all a really good price but when i ate them i was really annoyed because it all tasted disgusting unripe bitter nasty fruit especially the cherries not happy I thought Drakes was better than that. I’ve never eaten worse cherries they were a mix of very unripe bitter and overripe rotten no flavour and ripe but no flavour
Don’t sell bad food that’s not good to eat word gets around Drakes goes on about theft in their stores but by selling bad food you’re stealing from your customers because people buy the bad fruit and throw it out and don’t take it back and you get away with it and make money BAD BAD not good enough im calling you out Drakes

Large store with a large fresh fruit and vegetable selection, large deli with a great selection of sliced meats. The rest of the store is normal supermarket.

Nicely set out and friendly staff but I still don't see the point in shopping at drakes when a lit of the staples are generally 10-20% more expensive than the chains. I get it, shop local, but I'm not paying more for nappies, toilet paper etc etc

Often pop in when doing business in Seaford Central! Always buy more than I intended which is simply because they always have tempting specials.especially in the fruit and veg area! Well worth a visit!

Terrific shop & staff - but trying to find out online if they stock or sell a particular item is an absolute nightmare, if not impossible!

Drake seaford you are DOING IT RIGHT! Everytime i come to this store there is everything I need, comparable prices to the big stores but most of all. YOUR STAFF ARE AMAZING!
sociable, polite and know how to pack bags.
I met another young lady (Charlotte) earlier and what a lovely check out girl, I literally watched her lifting everyone's spirits she served with her conversation skills and happy disposition!
AMAZING ENOUGH THAT I TOOK THE TIME TO REVIEW!

A great shop with a large range of excellent goodies. It is not the "cheapest" supermarket, but you will find bargains and you will certainly have a bigger choice than in most major supermarkets.
The supermarket may also be one of the buisnesses with a small carbon footprint as many products are sourced in South Australia and not transported of thousands of kilometers.
