About me, after three back surgeries, I am a hard case, which I am sure Dr Lee found out. He had his hands full with my issues but never gave up. So its not easy to find a lateral thinking doctor who is willing to go another yard to find answers. He was very professional and caring. I have severe arthritis in my spine. After 40 years as a RN my back is not in good shape. I had to give up work 21/2 years ago because of severe back pain. Dr Lee is pro non surgery as am I. He did a dernavation proceedure on 3 levels of my lower spine. It is the first time in many years that I am pain free. Dr Lee is a caring, gentle surgeon with a vast knowledge of procedures of the spine that are non surgical as well as being a experienced and great spinal surgeon. I would recommend Dr Lee to anyone. He follows up on post op care and explains everything preop with diagrams and has printouts with what procedure he is going do.

I waited 5 years worried about my back/spine pain, but it all came out great after the procedure. Very pleased with his explanation of what will happen and his calm and collected mannerisms.

I agree with Rosalee, Dr Lee performed a spinal fusion on me when other surgeons wouldn't attempt to because of complications from previous surgeries. He explained the risks in every detail & 12 months later I can walk & stand without pain, whereas before it was impossible. His appointments were always on time & he is an extremely likeable & approachable person.
I highly recommend this surgeon to anyone who has spinal issues, he's a remarkable man.

I highly recommend Dr. Lee if you are considering back surgery. He has taken away what was becoming debilitating pain that was interfering with my life 24 hours a day. His professional manner and care before and after my surgery was exceptional. Thankyou Dr. Lee, I'm so glad I was referred your way.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Dr lee. I was told that surgery is not an option for me since my pain is mostly mus/skeletal rather than nerve pain which I understood however I was hoping to be given some alternative rather than just being sent back to my Gp. I feel like I was being judged for asking for some sort of medication to help with the chronic pain that has been debilitating.
There is a difference between muscle relaxant and benzodiazepines. Not all muscle relaxant cause drowsiness or have an addictive nature! Dr lee kept saying that I don’t prescribe those medication as if I’m asking for a benzo. All I was given was anti inflammatory which I can get from my Gp anyways.
I told Dr Lee that I have already tried everything such as (chiro, physio, acupuncture, injections and my pain has progressively gone worse over the years hence why I made and appointment to see a specialist! However I was not given any useful advice.
Overall I left the office with a lack of sympathy or alternative plan.for me it was not a pleasant experience. I feel like I’m back to square one.
He might be a great surgeon but he is not a great doctor.

Dr Lee operated on my husband, Brian, a month ago and he now feels almost back to normal. The back pain and leg pain and weakness he suffered from previously have disappeared.
