Appalling. Highly credentialed in his field but appalling in treating a patient that does not fit into his set spiel. If you have insomnia he is not interested in treating you. He will not even try to think of helpful strategies. Abrupt, rude and dismissive of my distress.

Dr Dien Dang is a very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable specialist who diagnosed and fixed my sleep apnoea. I would highly recommend him to anyone with sleep problems.

Dr Dang's analysis of my ongoing sleep issues, was professional and direct. He quickly had the appropriate tests scheduled, results reviewed and medications prescribed. All outcomes have been so positive for me, I am delighted to be referred to such a positive, informed, professional whose focus and experience was impressive, and who has changed the quality of my life in a very short time.

Can't speak enough of how good Dr Dang is. Diagnosis and solutions were 'spot-on' and I've got control of my life again. Friendly, open and clever, he made my situation seem comfortable and simple to address. Staff friendly and efficient, and understanding when I needed them to be.

Dr Dang has a tremendous energy about him and a clear passion for advising on a cure for, in my case, sleep apnea. I would recommend him to anyone seeking advice in this area.

I have nothing but respect for Dr Dang. From the first moment of meeting him it was obvious that he was the right choice of Doctor. He was polite professional and easy to talk to. He was very honest and forthright with his diagnosis and I never got the feeling that he was selling me anything including medical jargon.he explained everything from start to finish in non medical jargon and was very open to any questions. I was referred to a sleep study and the lovely lady at reception manage to time an appointment for the next day to review the results as they knew I had driven from the country for the appointment. His testing lead to a diagnosis of two separate issues along with a CPAP set up issue. I have now been prescribed the appropriate medications and am sleeping soundly for the first time in years. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Dang and his staff to anyone that may have sleep issues. There are no words to describe the difference in my life, mood, concentration and general happiness. I never thought it would be this good! Thank you to Doctor Dang and the staff involved.

Very impressed with Dr Dien Dang's straight forward, clear assessment and sensible recommendations. Have been under another sleep specialist for 3 years and on a CPAP machine for mild apnoea. I didn't feel this was right and sought another opinion and strategy from Dr Dang. He confirmed that CPAP was overkill for my apnoea levels. With snoring my main concern I will now have a mouthguard made and pack the CPAP away

Despite having a good reputation in the sleep industry, unfortunately Dr Dang's manner was abrupt and he was unwilling to concede to what appeared to be his own agenda in insisting that I have OSA despite sleep study results indicating otherwise (AHI of 3.9, stable SaO2, good sleep architecture) and my undertaking my sleep study through Burnside hospital. His tone of voice was passive-aggressive for the most part of the consultation and he proceeded to prescribe a medication for RLS that had previously resulted in severely adverse side-effects. He demonstrated absolutely no empathy for my reported distress at not having slept properly in months and would not discuss treatment options further. I left the consultation 8 minutes later and $112 poorer feeling upset, angry, dismissed, untreated and determined to find another sleep/respirator physician.

Dr Dang was very informative regarding my symptoms which subsequently has led me to the sleep apnea program that has substantially changed my sleep pattern and general health for the better. Thank you.

I want to congratulate you both on exceptional professionalism and with great care.

You have both delivered a level of care that if Standard in the medical industry would significantly improve lives, lower health costs and free up hospital space!

To think I was just over twelve months ago booked in for a nose, throat, tongue operation and had paid $500 deposit to have all three areas trimmed and cut and operated.

Then with some parental care I receive a second opinion suggestion with Dr. Dien Dang details provided to me.

18months later I’m healthy, happy and no longer need a sleep apnoea machine. I have my $500 deposit back and soon will return for part credit a $2,500 machine that I no longer need.

I’ve never felt this healthy or happy, I’ve never felt more rested, or energized in the mornings in my adult life. Essentially I feel each and every day like I’ve got the energy of my childhood back and I feel so much better in mind, body and spirit.

Most unprofessional dr with no regard for patients which are just too hard for him. Drops you with no contact or reason. Horrible person I recommend staying well away from Dr dien dang

Dr Dang is an excellent specialist. I had a chronic cough for 6 months which was tiring and at times distressing. He was very thorough in his investigations leaving no stone unturned to ensure I had no underlying disease. He described and explained in layman's terms explained what were the possible causes and treatments. He has a professional manner and easy to deal with. Thanks to him I have been cough free for over a month.
