I do NOT recommend this Dr. He is well credentialed but treated me with disdain and disinterest.
He did not even download the most recent X-ray which he claimed could not be accessed. He was unable to diagnose the issue with my wrist. He begrudgingly offered an arthroscopy to have a look.
I went to another surgeon who did download that X-ray and from feeling my wrist knew what the problem was immediately and it has already been fixed.
I have rung 12 times in the last day and a half and only get a message from Mel his PA, nobody at SportsMed can make an appoint, I am frustrated beyond belief that he can't afford staff to man his appointment diary. I have asked my doctor for a new referral.
He was amazing with my mum. Spoke to her with respect. Made sure she understood if the surgery would help. Very impressed with him and the surgery.
Unprofessional, disrespectful and seems only interested in performing surgery, not in assisting his patients in making a full recovery.
I would NOT recommend Dr Andrew Saies for shoulder injuries.
A thoroughly professional, competent and compassionate surgeon. 12 weeks after shoulder surgery I am now pain free and have a very nearly fully functioning shoulder.
