Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours reviews
44Nice and enjoyable kayak, saw a few dolphins, our guide Alex was very good and knowledgeable
It was an amazing tour with fantastic experience. Our guide (Trent) led us visiting many interesting spots. He took care of the entire group very well. More importantly, we got to see beautiful Dolphins at the end which was a memorable experience for us. Thanks a lot and hope to join you again next time:)
Alex was a very good tour guide, very informative. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone thinking of going.
We enjoyed a lot. This is a must do thing when you travelling Adelaide. Their service was superb and staff was amazing and friendly.
Kirrilee was a wonderful guide for this tour. I appreciated her knowledge of marine biology, the ecosystem, and her overall friendly nature. Highlights were the mother and baby dolphin swimming nearby, the mangrove estuary, and just being out on the water on a beautiful day.
On the bucket list for a long time and we had the opportunity to do the guided tour for my birthday weekend. Noah was terrific through-ought and super helpful. And we saw dolhpins! Couldn't have been a better experience.
Fiona was amazing, she was fully engaged with the group and bent over backwards to assist everyone where needed.
We were lucky enough to see 3 groups of dolphins. Fiona knew exactly where to go and had a sharp eye.
I would highly recommend this company and definitely request Fiona, you will have a blast.
Great experience, got to see a dolphin and lots of marine life (oysters) in the mangroves. Directed by a marine biologist kirrilee. Lots of information about the environment was given and well guided. Birds were cute!
Had a lovely time, Alex our guide was wonderful, he is very knowledgeable, kind and patient while the newbees got their bearings.
We had a very nice time on our tour, guided by Kirrilee. The close encounter with a mother dolphin and her calf was the highlight of the day. We were driven back to the nearest train starion at the end of our booking, which was a very nice bonus. The guides know it can be tricky to get an Uber, so they offered it.
Great weather and interesting waterways to explore. Fiona our guide gave us well-informed commentary and pointed out the potential hazards. Sightings of a mother dolphin and calf are special memories.
Great way to finish the trip, from 9 to 9: 30 we had the safety and demo, after that everything was amazing! Paddling around without a group and being able to get pretty close to the dolphins. Best time was 10: 30 to 11: 30 when lots of them were out feeding while the tide was going out. Worth the 50 dollars!
What an amazing experience! Our guide Kirrilee was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour that much richer. We were lucky enough to spot a mama dolphin and her baby as well as eagle rays, learn about the shipwrecks and have an easy paddle through the Mangroves. I would absolutely recommend this tour!
Had a fantastic time. The guided tour with Kirrilee was great and I learned things I didnt know about the Adelaide coastline and its mangroves. Highly recommend
Definitely recommended for an outdoors leisurely activity! Caters to all ages & level of experience. Alex, the guide facilitating the 3 hours session was outstanding!
He was helpful in assisting. Also, knowledgeable & well informed with nature at the Dolphin Sanctuary. Great job, Alex! He genuinely connected with everyone in the group.
Although no dolphins appeared to greet us: seeing ship wrecks upclose and especially kayaking through the mangroves was an memorable highlight.
First time ever kayaking, kirrilee was the best guide for the tour! Full of information and fun stories. She was also super duper helpful for a first timer just thankful i didn’t capsize and very grateful to have seen some dolphins including a two week old new baby? Definitely worth the money and the experience
We had a great day out on the water. Guide Alex was knowledgeable and looked after us well, especially when the current got a fair bit stronger. We learned a good deal about the area, the mangroves and dolphins. Getting to see a few young wild dolphins was the cherry on top of an already enjoyable experience.
The kayaking tour was amazing. Our guide Alex was the most welcoming and knowledgeable guide. A great experience that I would highly recommend with great views
Had a great time at the kayak tour this morning. Managed to see a dolphin and calf among the boats. Also ventured into the mangroves and saw a shipwreck. Kirralee was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable
Experience was ok but I would recommend some degree of fitness since the guided tour can be 3.5 hours long. I was surprised how close to the industrial areas the waters we navigated in were and potential pollution levels in the area. Also bring some spare clothes/pants especially on a colder day like today since you will get wet to some degree. Storage facilities on site are quite basic for bags or things you are not bringing on kayak also.
