District 1 Modern Vietnamese Eatery

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. Very authentic quality Vietnamese food. I really enjoyed the whole experience.

I had the dumpling Pho, great food, pricing was okay. Facilities are nice but small tables and the restaurant was empty. Staff were somewhat attentive but definitely room for improvement.

Omg.if your north of Adelaide in the Mawson Lakes area district 1 is a must go the food was amazing the staff ever so polite and the overall price was excellent

Salt and pepper squid $27 for an entree serve. Average taste.
Prawn and pork hot pot, hardly any prawns or pork. No taste to the rice.
Service was non existent. Only got one drink as they didn’t come back to ask if we wanted another one!
My wife went to the woman’s toilet and saw the male chef come out of it. The toilet was in disgusting condition!
Overall not worth going. It was a Tuesday night and was not busy.
Very disappointing.

Went to District 1 last night for the 3rd time and again disappointed with the outcome. Though I would treat myself and order the crab only to get a beautiful carb meal with nothing to crack it open. So ended up having a small bowl of steamed rice for dinner. Would have preferred the crab de-shelled even wait an extra hour like my last 2 meals. It’s sad as the flavours are amazing but I with 3 out of 3 bad experiences I don’t know if I could ever go back considering each time has been with 3 - 10 people and have paid the full price every time it’s like they don’t care and know they are going to have an issue every night

The place and menu look spectacular. Service is wonderful.
Food is disappointing. Ordered 2 beef phô bowls, and there was barely any beef at all. For $25 per bowl that is a rip off. It was mostly a bowl of broth and rice noodles, with 4 pieces of thinly sliced beef, and 2 small beef tendon balls cut in half.

Wagyu phó was very tasty just stupid serving it in a sizzling bowl, took half hour to cool down. Others meals were well enjoyed

Management and customer service was really poor. We ordered and waited for an hour only to receive one of our ordered drinks and entree came few minutes after too. I don’t even know how long we waited for the mains to come out but they came one by one and took forever, then later found out one dish was out of stock. The food is pricey and served in small portions. Not worth the money.

Very disappointed, salad was not fresh I think peanuts were stale. Crispy pork was not! Picked vegetables were also not. Very little seasoning in anything. Very overpriced. Happy to spend for quality, but this was not. Staff were friendly

The best pho in the Adelaide, the soup is delicious, and the rice noodles are smoother than anywhere else! Quail is also recommended.

After almost an hour all of the dishes were served. Apparently there was a mix up in the kitchen. Pho dumplings were 5 small falling apart dumplings in somewhat nice tastings water. I see many good reviews but from my experience I will not be returning here again. Just to top it off we were celebrating mothers birthday. Very nice.

Menu and management has clearly changed, not the same experience we remembered. S&P tofu and fried rice were not the same. My friend found a piece of sharp plastic in the tofu batter. Fried rice contained egg when ordered as vegan. Barramundi was so weird and $45, do not order, I didn’t even eat any and still had to pay: (not the best customer service tbh. Won’t be back

Taste was good, but the pipi was not clean enough, and the waitress was rude, couldn’t provide service in time and brought the coffee very late.

Was received the wrong order and the staff denied it and the food was uncooked. The staff did not handle the situation to replace it instead told us the order was correct when it clearly was not. I have dined in here before had no problems but this time was not impressed by the cooking and how the staff treated us.

5 star vietnamese resturant this is wuite a new restaurant ive taken my beother here my partner here an its still my favourite restaurant even though last time i tok my partner ther to eat he gor food poisoning from the phò I didnt complain however i was very upset as I'd spent over $130 - but generally its a 5 star restaurant with great food I am sure my one bad experience was just that, ONE bad experience

This was our first time trying, we loved it so much we made another booking for Saturday …. That’s how you know a place is good!

Excellent service and a delicious meal. Drinks arrived within 1 minute of ordering, meals arrived within 5 minutes. Both were better than expected. Very friendly staff, I can't rate the service highly enough. We dined on a Saturday evening and it was busy but it seemed that all guests were well looked after and the kitchen was humming, with meals coming out frequently. Highly recommend, I will be back to enjoy the service and the food again. Thank you!

The little wagyu pho is a good portion for its price, the interior is homely and modern.
Great service and care of customers.

Disappointing. My main meal came out with the entree dumped in front of me. It was served so fast and suspiciously that I suspect they gave me someones uneaten salad and rehashed it. I say this because that was true. Third visit there. 2 good but this time definitely gone down in food quality, service and dining experience.
I would not go back again!
