Great place to stay but if you have kids bicycles, recommend putting them in the room at night, had a trek marlin stolen Christmas Eve, they cut the locks, it was one of 3 that was stolen during our stay the other bikes was taken from other guests through out the park over 3 nights, was disappointed to wake up Christmas morning and see the bike missing, put a spoiler on Christmas morning for us including my young son who loved that bike so much, spoke to the management and they wasn't very keen to review footage, was told maybe later today

Messed up my falooda. Didn't fix it despite I highlight it. They have a "Take it or leave it" approach with 0 customer service.

We rented a parking space and slept in our car. The facilities are beautiful and super clean, the bathroom, showers, kitchen, barbecue area, everything very good

I frequent the park for work as I am a caravan motorhome and RV electrical and mechanical repairer, always friendly staff, always meticulously maintained and always greeted with a smile and friendly staff,

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family.
Pros:
-The standard cabin where we stayed was good size, modern and clean.
-very close to the beach that they have their own secured access.
-great location, heaps of restaurants and shops nearby
-2 good size pools
Cons:
-was only provided with 1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash for 3persons staying for 2 nights.
- TV was not a smart TV compared to most caravan parks we’ve been to which has smart tvs in modern cabins.
- playground and jumping pillow were quite small compared to the other Discovery Parks.
-Some of the vertical blind slats were missing that we had to cover the spaces with blanket every night for privacy

Nice comfortable cabin with good facilities. The park is pretty well laid out and the facilities seemed popular.

Booked a Pet Friendly room with 4 adults, we had two cars, firstly could only take one car in even thought the parking area could take two cars without a problem - later in the night when we went out for something to eat when we came back there were no spaces left (come on 5 spaces really not enough), then the cabin 1 double bed and 2 bunks - thats wasn't a problem but only the bed was made and when I queried it - Oh we don't make up the bunks - you know there are 4 adults coming would it have been too hard to make two bunks up, then there are only bottom sheets and the doona had no covers, the shower had low hot water pressure, and the cabin hadn't been cleaned in certain areas for months - we spent the three nights in carvan parks in Hamilton And Pakenham - they leave this one for dead

Stayed for 7 nights after we upgraded to standard 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was nice but not as nice as it should've been for the price. Park is in a great location and would stay there again. Service was great.
Originally paid for an economy cabin. Stay well clear of the economy cabins they need knocking down and are well overpriced, old and dirty.

Nice park - dolphin cabin was great, loved the tourist steam train coming past. Clean and user friendly. Great facilities for kids in the pools and jumping pillow. Just drive slowly in the park or you’ll be grumped at by one of the staff (they were completely justified!)

My mountain bike was stolen from this caravan park. The bike lock was cut. Only a boom at the entrance, no gate to keep criminals out. It was mentioned that there is regular bike theft from the park. Otherwise it is a nice park.

Cabin was pretty good except for the magnetic locking system where you can't open both doors on the deck and if you accidentally shut the door or pull it together whilst your on the deck and you don't have the card you have to go to reception and get them to unlock it. And if their not there and you don't have your phone as it's inside the cabin not sure what you'd do

Was given the wrong room, booked one that sleeps 6 and ended up with 1 that sleeps 4. Room was tidy but not cleaned properly, specifically underneath beside tables had not been cleaned, lots of dust and hair ties. Only one of the bunk beds had been made (why not just make both? Since money was paid to sleep additional guests) Grounds keeping staff were lovely though! Very friendly and understanding. Reception staff unhelpful and rude. Definitely in a nice and convenient location, not far from lots of neat and fun places.

My husband and I have been best mate loyalty members for several years now and have stayed at every discovery park in South Australia but we can't understand why this park won't let you use you benifits you're earnt over all the money we have spent on staying at these parks every other discovery or g'day park does and don't.let you pay on arrival like all other parks expeaily being a best mate loyalty member should do.there's no water park to many permanent residence discovery as like all the rest have way more amenities even the big 4 up the road is more family friendly why should this shouldnt be classed as a discovery park head to Barossa Goolwa Clare pt Broughton victor harbour Hahndorf they are all discovery and treat members like family and should semaphore sorry about putting the truth into words
Big must for this growing lovely park should keep the pool open until at least dusk this park has potential to make it up with top discovery parks and also a community fire pit to roast marshmallows as all other discovery parks have thank you for your time
but could management please look into our honesty please to make your park the 5star park it can be

My experience of G’day at beachfront was quite below the average. One time I stayed at the power-site and I encountered a bulky dude, possible to be high on drugs, wandering around the camp site overnight. I found him stealing my food from the camp kitchen, it was fortunate enough I was walking by and saw it and he was not armed. I did inform the front desk, however, I was told that “look this is a campsite, and anyone can walk in”. No safety at all if you are sleeping in the car or tent. Another time I booked Economy Cabin - Sleeps 4, which was a total disappointment. The cabin smelled like a smoke (cigarette) chimney, no proper sanitation, poor cleaning. Everything felt damp including toilet paper, towels, and bedding. Not suitable for someone with respiratory issues. The front desk did switch me to a quiet nice cabin, really appreciated; however, it was very inconvenient and unpleasant experience. In my opinion, the hygiene and quality standards should be consistent for all type of costumers.
