Discovery Parks - Port Augusta

Had a caravan site with an ensuite, which I would highly recommend. It's very convenient.
Amenities in the park are great, and the park is kept clean and tidy.
Staff are very friendly and a big shout out to Katrina (assistant manger) for ensuring our stay was enjoyable.
There was a bit of road noise. However, after a few hours, I didn't take any notice of it.
We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed the stay.
Will be back again.

Heavy security. Perhaps a bit too much lol it was difficult to get out for a run in the morning. Very helpful staff. Clean amenities including a gym and swimming pool! Pretty impressive as far as caravan parks go

Came here because I needed wifi. It was not working at all. So I had a very frustrating evening trying to make it work.
So if you offer wifi, please make it strong and stable enough to work properly.
Because the facilities and the rest of the campground were actually looking good.

Was told only unpowered site left as everything else is full (not really a problem as we didn't require power that night) but get there and there is heaps of vacant sites between 152 and 164.so we ended up on the smallest patch of grass, which was for unpowered folk, surrounded by heaps of people. Might as well have all been in the same tent! Do not recommend unless you're the type to be in people's personal space.

We couldn't ask for better customer service, our car motor blow up yesterday afternoon n I rang on short notice n these guys helped us out straight away, a big thank to you guy's we have appreciated everything you have done for us.

Don’t know how the park got 4 star rating. The cabin was probably built in 1980s and is still in original condition. I can’t say the cleanness is bad but everything is so old and crusty. The cabin we booked was called 2 bedroom cabin which can fit 5 people. However it was a one bedroom cabin. The queen bad suppose for parents is in the corner of the living/kitchen area. I can’t even tell the color of the dining chairs. Photo attached.

Great camp kitchen, really big sites (one of the biggest at any caravan park), close to town, servo across the road everything with reach and made to feel welcomed how it should be when it comes to hospitality and tourism. Will definitely be back when we head back to Darwin or Perth.

Pet friendly spacious powered sites. 3 night stay with ensuite. Staff courteous & park was very well kept. Coles express across the road for any groceries. Pools were sparkling clean & well used on 40°deg day. Recommend

This park was clean and well looked after! The beds in the cabbins were so comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in an unpowered campsite, flat open grass area with tree cover. Camp kitchen is great, fully equipt. Amazing bunch of people working here, big shout out to Tammy and Josh for being so friendly and helpful. Really nice park, you can tell alot of thought goes into the little details. Thankyou for the kitkats, made us smile!

Great overnight place to stay. We camped on an unpowered site. Flat and grassy. All amenities were spotlessly clean. Highly recommended

Lots of flat concrete areas, perfect for playing handball.
The ensuite and kitchen facilities are excellent.

Clean, friendly staff and reasonable price. Unfortunately one of the main things I was looking for was Wi-Fi. For this, the park was a fail. Wi-Fi came and went throughout two days of my stay. Most of the time it did not appear. When I could connect it was extremely slow. I ended up walking to town, to the library, to get Wi-Fi. Other than that I would have given five stars.

Came with my family for the weekend not too long ago, no complaints here! Lovely place to stay on a roadtrip and kick back. Nice and clean when we arrived, no problems with anyone else staying and felt nice, private and safe.

Rubbish internet, lucky to get 5mgbts if you need to do remote work do not stay here, Dropped out even down loading emails a waste of mone. The room smelt too we had to open the windows and doors and run the aircon

Excellent little cabin for our overnight stay.
The kitchenette was well equipped with appliances, utensils and supplies.
The lovely welcome note and welcome pack of a mini wine bottle & Tim Tams was an unexpected treat and surprise! Such a lovely personal touch!

Some drive thru sites aren't level enough to stay hooked up without ramps.
Amenities clean.
Got a bit concerned after reading their security notice and then being approached down the road a bit by some locals asking for money.
At 40 something $s per night I thought it was a tad overpriced.

Stayed at a powered site with an ensuite. Ensuite was very clean and spacious. Site itself was clean and had a concrete slab and rock so things stayed clean. Close to local shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly. Has a pool which was clean and refreshing.bbq area which was also very clean. Would stay here again
