Discovery Parks - Roxby Downs

Just off Olympic Way. Room is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The late check out is appreciated.

We were welcomed beautifully to this Caravan Park, and can recommend it to anyone who is travelling to Roxby Downs

Rooms are great office staff and managers are very helpful. Meals supplied for mine workers are shocking.

Reasonable cabin it could be cleaner it smelled like old plastic.entire park looked quiet ran down.holes in walls.ensuites for caravans used as storage.weeds.etc.nothing great stood out.

Stayed here on a powered site, good location to amenities. Laundry facilities all free including powder! Katherina on front desk was just perfect. A lovely person.

Confirmation of booking came in as expected and our info was in the lock box. Easy to follow, as with all Discovery Parks. Clean and everything working well in the shower/toilet block and campgrounds were neat.for the outback! Watch the doublegees, also expected for our proximity. Loved Roxby! Tavern friendly, good meals, overall enjoyed Rock'n Roxby.

Cabins are clean, tidy with plenty of amenities inside. Unfortunately the bed doesn't quite accommodate for someone who is tall. My feet hang over the edge. There is a gym to use. The site is quiet enough at night time to be able get sleep.

My travelling partner and I arrived after check-in, on a VERY rough (stormy and windy) evening. We weren't hopeful of being allowed in, given the time, and were anxious about what our alternative prospects for the evening might be, since we only had camping gear. However, after phoning the after hours number, Emma gave us access to the park and patiently directed us to a really nice spot within the park where we could camp. We had to leave early in the morning so couldn't enjoy the place to its full extent, but even after a night with terribly unpleasant weather, the park was tidy and lovely, and the bushland at the rear of the reserve made for some good spotlighting (if you're that way inclined ;). The bathrooms were clean and the hot shower was more than welcome. We met Emma as we were leaving, and she was the epitome of a kind and wonderful person. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a safe and comforting tent or caravan park in the Roxby Downs region. I will definitely be back:)

Manager, Emma is lovely and very helpful, you are always greeted with a warm welcome. Great place to stay and pet friendly. Amenities are always very clean. Thank you to Emma and cleaners who do an amazing job.

Fantastic customer service, and very accommodating. Rooms were clean and tidy. Although there was a shutdown on at the mine and they were booked out, they made room for us when our fencing camp was rained out on more than one occasion. 100% recommended.

Just spent 2 weeks here through work, single room perfect, staff very friendly, food in dining area was consistently well cooked and very appetising, would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great caravan park with excellent facilities in this remote location.
Staff team, let by Emma, were fantastic. Friendly and helpful.

First room was quite ordinary, just a square box with poor facilities, 2 people one cup is poor.
Second room (2 weeks later) was better but still not glamourous. Basic for the money, but that's what you get in a mining town.
Had everything you need for a short stay and the AC warmed the room nicely, and was quiet. Fridge, small oven, microwave, small TV and tea & coffee making.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Could do with a good air out and would be nice to smell that it was clean. Mattresses were hard as a rock and didn't have a comfortable sleep. Park was quite which was good. Happy with my stay and if I'm ever up that way again I would stay again. Thanks guys.

This is a fabulous caravan park.
The facilities are great and it's very quiet.

We had a great time here. Everything was perfect and the staff were super accommodating.

The cabins were clean and tidy.

Don't tail gate another car when entering or leaving via the boom gate as you will have trouble entering / exiting the next time around.

Unexpected stay at Roxby Downs due to car problems. Stayed at Discovery Parks in our caravan. It was bloody brilliant. Carly and Megan at reception were so kind and friendly. Beautiful grassed areas, sparkling clean amenities and so quiet. Loved it and highly recommend to others. 10/10

Very much set up for the miners. Ask for a site down the back near tent sites. Pretty quiet and views to the scrub make you feel your in the outback
