Des's Pirie Taxis

No wonder people can not get a cab, a des cab sits in 6th street port pirie for hours whilst driver visits his mates

I was pleasantly overwhelmed with the rapid response to a email I sent. The manager guppi took the time out of his busy schedule to personally visit me to let me know that the issue I had was addressed. I give this company 5 star rating

On booking you receive a message on how proud the family history of this company is and the service it supplies.
The one thing that was positive the cabs ran close to on time.
But
COVID SAFE NO.
CLEAN NO INSIDE OR OUT DISGRACEFUL.
SMELLING NICE NO.
DRIVERS KNOWLEDGE OF AREA NONE AND GETTING YOU TO YOUR DESTINATION GOOD LUCK.
THE LADY THAT TOOK OUR BOOKING SATURDAY NIGHT WAS THE ONLY HIGH LIGHT TO THE EXPERIENCE.

Booked a taxi to pick up my wife at the bus station, to take her to her motel in town. Did not show up. Rang the company and they could not contact the driver. They then offered to book a cab from another company. That cab arrived and brought my wife to her destination safely. Not good enough to be left stranded in the dark in a strange town, after a long day of travelling.

Booked a taxi for a short trip, 10 minutes for 6 people, never showed up and we had to walk into town. Very poor

Would never recommend, they got only 2 Cabs and is running whole Pirie in it. I was waiting for it for ages and phone receptionist said every time that Taxi will reach in 2 minutes and it never came. Very disappointed

Had to call up 3 times checking and making sure the taxi was actually coming had to almost an hour at the front of Coles mt Barker and it's not the first time this has happened for the most part in my experience they have been very unreliable

I asked for the taxi the day before to pick me up early in the morning. The day after they called me about 5 min before the pick up time to tell they were not able to provide the service. They even suggested me to call to another company if I wanted to get on time to my destination! Unfortunately, this was the second incident that I have had with this company.

About 3 weeks ago booked a taxi for 3.30 pm for work and the taxi rock up at 4.10 That's poor service

Waited over 50 minutes for them to arrive ended up calling the other company who arrived in 5 minutes.

Des's has being in the taxis industy for over 50 years they are the best taxis service in south Australia
they drivers are will plite then surbarab taxi driving sometime have to wait up to and hour. Des's have got the cheaper fee we need more des's cabs here in Port Pirie

My boyfriend and me were really disappointed of the service, they lied on the price and the driver wasn't friendly.
I wouldn't recommand this taxi company.
