Des's Lincoln Taxis

The driver was friendly and professional, car was clean and well-maintained, and the pricing was fair. Pick-ups were fast with about 10 - 30 minutes waits.

One of Des's Taxis tailgated me and my partner when we were doing the speed limit and then when we slowed down as taught by my driving instructor they put their high beams on, at night time in a residential area in port lincoln, whilst sitting a couple of meters behind our vehicle. For reference, normally I sit a few kilometers over the speed limit and was that night too, until the taxi driver began tail gating me.

Booked and organised days before for Airport and they phone 5 minutes after pickup time to say they have no drivers. Poor service

The driver told us he was from Pakistan and was so friendly to start with then when we were ready to get out he asked us if we were only going to pay what was owed, my husband said yes and that is when he turned on us and swore at us and told us to get out. Obviously he was expecting a nice tip but we only went from the port Lincoln marina to the start of the city centre. This was very disappointing to us as we are not used to such bad behaviour. Consequently we would not recommend this particular driver to anyone.

Order a taxi after dinner. Recieved a message to say my taxi was approaching so got up to leave. As I was walking out I saw my taxi drive in past the reception and out with out stopping, only to to recieve a message to say they couldn't find me. Terrible service. Look forward to uber coming to town

Great taxi service in Port Lincoln used quite a few times during our short break, never had to wait very long for the next available cab. Thanks

Great service. I wasn't organised and drive had to wait a few minutes but still greeted me with a smile.

Better of walking, absolutely bad customer service. Not on time, long delays, only one taxi working most of the time.

What a complete rip off. Avoid at all costs. Unfortunately there is no real alternative, Suburban being no cheaper. Hire a car. They charged us $55 to go 12.6km, with no meter on, apparently it was a “fixed fare” because it was to the airport.

They also charged me $113 to get to Coffin Bay from Port Lincoln and $48 to get from the airport into Port Lincoln.

Not happy thay refused to come to my location and I ask why thay never said why that's so annoying

Three trips while in Lincoln 2 excellent the third to the airport no quite so good would have been nice for the driver to get out the van at the hotel and ask if we needed a hand with luggage and the driver definitely could have done with a shower

Rang for a Taxi ten o'clock Sunday night and the operator hung up on me. Rang back and asked why he hung up and he said he couldn't hear anything because of the noise in the background. As this was the issue I moved out to where there was no noise and said he could have used better phone etiquette. I wasn't abusive as I never am and he hung up on me again. This is the worst service I have ever received in my life. Hope calls are recorded and the owner has a listen.
